Different types of power null?

So im having troubles phrasing the question

So using this example

Spell A can nullify any spell. That's straightforward

But a character that can passively drain the source of a character's power (Chakra, Cosmo, Ki, Kundalini, Magic, mana, MP, Chi, Spiritual energy, etc)

That power draining is a type of Nullification but it's different, right?

So my question is....

Is having resistance to spell A (traditional power Nullification) also giving resistance to having the source of their power being drained to 0?

2nd one is Power Absorption, it's not nullifying anything.

Their not absorbing their abilities though and using their own power.
