How can anyone argue that TSO isn't EE when it was explicitly stated that edo Minato and the other edos could "die" again if they got hit by the TSO.

It was already confirmed by tobirama. That was because it negated ninjustu. And the edo kages bodies were ninjustu which was why they could not comeback.

You can't simple determine what is narrative statement and what isn't. Especially with characters who have 0 knowledge on a ability. The term erased is used figuratively a lot in fiction. So that's even more reason not to take this statement seriously.

Hashirama has never read Hagoromo's stone or seen the rinnegan while he was alive , but he knew about Rinne Tensei. Tobirama had knowledge of Onmyouton, he wouldn't say something about if he didn't know about it.

Theirs no explanation at very best you can argue soul manipulation. EE is a stretch without any explanation.

Tbh i don't think it's soul manipulation either cause the way naruto souls work is kinda odd. Characters can suffer physical injuries and it will reflect on their soul body. Minato had his soul jacket originally but when he took it off when he became edo his soul jacket was gone. So naruto souls just work kinda weird in general. So unless it's explained why his soul arms are gone. I don't think you can apply any interpretation

Madara never adding yin yang release is not proven at all and it makes no sense why wouldn't have it added and the db directly says madaras tbb has yin yang.

And again your ignoring context it's stated they don't come back cause the justu is negated. Minato lossing his soul arms is up for interpretation. That doesn't mean EE. You don't know if they can still come back later on or if tso can completely destroy souls. Soul reapers can cutt and damage souls does that mean they have soul EE? No

Madara when he stabbed Sakura used a TSB but it didn't activate any of its properties he was basically using TSB as a stick, he also throws it at Sakura in chapter 675 before Obito get her out of there, but the stick simply pierces a wall of the kamui and gets stuck in the wall, and the TSB was smeared with blood from Sakura too, further proof that Madara can turn TSB properties on and off, "just as we already knew".

It's directly stated multiple times that TSO's erase things like Ninjutsu, including the Edo Tensei body of people like Tobirama.

The onus would be on Reio to prove that "erased" in the context of these scans wouldn't imply Existence Erasure but rather something else entirely, which isn't something i believe is provable since nothing in the series inherently contradicts the assertion that "erased" in the context of these scans would imply EE. Which is the action of erasing something from existence itself, an effect that TSO's are directly stated to do.

In the lens of Occam's Razor Reio's claim requires more assumptions compared to the claim that "erased" means Existence Erasure rather then someone sort of Deconstruction or Soul Manipulation. since neither actually "erase" you from anything while Existence Erasure does "erase" you.
