Garou can only copy the amount of energy that saitama is using at that moment
before he goes full power garou can't copy his full power, so his full speed would have needed to be used at the time for it to get copied
That was serious saitama. He was using his full power in that strike. Directly after on io he states that he's going all out before performing the speed feat.

Full power doesn’t equal full speed. The scaling chain doesn’t work regardless, garou can’t scale to something that blitzed him, and therfore blast can’t.
The serious punch squared was actually like billions ftl, which I’m doing in a crt right after this one is applied but the current justification for blast is just wrong, he can’t scale to the io speed feat.

He states that he can go full power on io, directly implying that he wasn’t doing 100% back on earth
What saitama says on IO is not proof against him going all out when he used the serious punch. In reality, the fact that saitama knows that he can go all out against garou without worry is actually proof that he was going all out in the serious punch since he knows garou can match him.

Letting loose and going all out sure as hell means full power AND speed.
Therefore saitama's first key shouldn't scale to the IO feat for the same reason blast doesn't.

I still don’t agree but it doesn’t really matter, he can be ftl if you want, all that matters is if you agree with the main proposal or not

I did always find it weird how if SP^2 was MTFL+ how blast was not only able to react but move his arms to port them out of earth's atmosphere just before the collision. I figured either the punch wasn't that fast or he was just MTFL+ himself.

The rejection of MFTL+ scaling for the serious punch^2 was founded on headcanon and some argument about the vector which doesn’t really make sense through any perspective but current ratings are logically inconsistent nonetheless so I agree.

don't worry I have another crt right after this one is finished for that, I play both sides of the mftl+ argument so I always come out on top

Blast isn't scaling to MFTL+ Saitama. He was growing exponentially from the moment the first serious punch was thrown. Blast should just be FTL.

This isn’t going through so don’t worry.
No one is even paying attention to it.

So uh, just keep discussing
the more interaction this gets the more staff will see it, the quicker the profiles get opened and the thread gets closed
And the less I have to bump

He didn't. Blast was able to portal away every single attack Garou threw.
then for now
Blast>Cosmic Garou at the end of their fight>consecutive normal punches garou>peak Monster Garou>other forms>ftl
so blast would be at least ftl from how high above the ftl feat he scales

So assuming staff didn't just unfollow the thread
how much longer until the revision can be applied?
I suggest asking Antvasima to comment here. If he thinks this CRT has been accepted, he will probably open the profile for you. If he doesn't, he can just ping more staff to evaluate this.

So what are the consensus conclusions here so far?

Okay. Can somebody here properly explain the arguments for and against in a single post please?

In the alternate timeline, saitama blitzed Garou while going through io
the time it would take to beat garou's reactions while going that distance calculated to mftl+, but it relies on garou having been blitzed. Until copying saitama after that feat occured, Garou was unable to scale
therefore garou at the start of the fight wouldn't have been able to scale.
As for the opposition, idk. They haven't really said anything in a while, other than the fact that saitama would have not been mftl+ until he did that feat, otherwise garou would have been blitzed during the sp^2. But that would just be a downgrade for saitama's key, it doesn't actually affect this thread.
