Eh, CC2 games aren't bad, they just often feel like style over substance which I only really need one game of that after a while. Especially in how the games, when you get to a certain level of play, everything just feels slow and you don't even really get to see most of the flashy stuff. The demon slayer game felt like a good step forward, but I'm still unsure.
It'd be nice if they just added a bit more mechanical complexity to what they make.

IDK i feel like the storm games are pretty solid for arena fighters, the only one i can think of that id argue is a bit more mechanically rich is KIll la Kill.
though that doesnt mean CC2 doesnt have room to improve for a future title.

We probably can't have Pierrot verse like Toei since that I think has a some more that contributes to its exstisence, but we can sure have movie character only profiles, which we have a real lack of.
