Difference between Genius, Extraordinary Genius, and Super Genius.

Can someone explain to me in bullet points, the difference between Genius, Extraordinary Genius, and Super Genius? I have read the descriptions but they still sound vague. What exactly makes them different?

Genius is, simply put, genius intelligence; among the greatest minds of humanity, but within the realm of reality.

Extraordinary Genius is a higher degree of genius intelligence; still covering the same fields as real life thinkers, scientists, doctors, biologists, fighters, etc., but on a far more advanced and efficient level. Y'know, the superhuman version of genius intelligence.

Super Genius is genius intelligence on a completely illogical level, only granted to characters who have the intelligence and talent to defy logic and bend the fabric of reality through their minds and their ability alone. A run-of-the-mill genius could invent portal technology, but very few minds can reverse engineer said technology in order to manipulate space and time freely.

Thank you for the clarification. So, if we were to do a vs battle between two human level characters. Having extraordinary genius wouldn't mean an instant win against a genius in a battle of strategy? Does the extraordinary genius need that level of intellect in the strategy department too?

Also, a bit off topic but, wouldn't BBC sherlock holmes qualify for Extraordinary Genius?

Genius: Real life geniuses, like Da Vinci for example, in a combat sense this would be like people who can learn martial arts with a glance or things of that level.

Extraordinary Genius: Geniuses but on steroid, people able to create things like technology that can manipulate space, time or even a perpetual motion machine, this tier is also for dudes with supercomputer levels of calculation power (hence why most evil super AI in fiction generally would fall under this rating). There is no real way to get this purely with combat feats since this rating is more scientifical, though with specific characters and combat feats you could maybe argue (wank) them enough to get this rating.

Super Genius: Extraordinary geniuses but on steroid, this rating is only for scientific which can manipulate reality on at least a 3-A scale, like for example someone able to create a machine that affect the entire timeline of the universe or a dude that can create a botton that reset a multiverse.

It depends of the specific characters, their arsenal and situation, for example even if Doofenshmirtz is super smart he wouldn't be a better tactician that Solid Snake or Bulma wouldn't be a better tactician than Shikamaru, however if instead in the latter example Bulma is changed with Batman then in that situation can be said that Batman outsmart Shikamaru in a battle sense.

Reading his justification while he indeed seem to be highly intelligent still doesn't sound enough to reach Extraordinary Genius level.

Understandable. Thank you for the explanation. I only suggested Extraordinary genius for Sherlock Holmes because his expertise far surpasses irl geniuses. But if it's scientific, then it makes sense. Thanks.

Is mostly scientific but as said if a character have a supercomputer calculation power then it could also get the rating even if isn't a scientist, but otherwise yeah you need to be a super scientist.

Simply put:
Genius is real life geniuses out there, they are very gifted on one or possibly two aspect/fields in life

Extraordinary Genius is, well similar to Genius, but these guys is genius on every possible field of life, science, political, combat, etc....

Supergenius is peoples who can understand and create shit that bend reality no matter what scale

As Vietthai96, Stated

Genius is real life geniuses out there, they are very gifted on one or possibly two aspect/fields in life. [More here and there.]

Extraordinary Genius is, well similar to Genius, but these guys is genius on every possible [or in the very least, a wide range] field of life, science, political, combat, etc....
[In the real-world. These are slim to none][1][2][3][4][5][6]

Supergenius are reserved for those in fiction, according to verses battle, 'can warp reality with their inventions' and furthermore can overpower tier 1 entities.
