Boundary Breakers: RP Thread

"You better guide the way, the places I've been are very limited and there is a good amount of people in those places" Sam said to her partner
"Okay." Diina says quietly. She puts the Sutherland back in her storage space and grabs Sam's hand to start running with him. Going through several alleyways, eventually stopping at an apartment building where they discreetly enter.

Due to Diina and Sam's superhuman running speed, none of the people following them could keep up. They were quickly left in the dust.

As they enter the apartment building and go to a specific apartment number. Diina looks in the mail box and finds a key, she then opens the door and the two of them enter a relatively modest apartment.

"Sam, this is a really crowded city, so a few people ended up seeing us go here even if they didn't get a clear picture of us."

Diina goes over to the bedroom and into the closet.

"So, we're here to put on some disguises for a little while, if you don't mind. We'll have to leave quickly. These clothes belong to a husband and wife who are currently at work, and they should fit the both of us well enough, now let's hurry."

"...It seems you've confirmed by premonitions," The ancient one nods. "And the world. How does it progress from here?"

She seemed curious. This person wasn't one that she had predicted, unlike Stephen Strange himself... And he wielded magic that was quite clearly not of this world.

"Moreover, where is that magic of yours from? You appear to be a man of many secrets."
@ZephyrosOmega
"Well, an alien warlord named Thanos wants to wipe out half of all life from the universe with his magic "Infinity Stones", thus allowing everyone more resources, which is not just misguided and evil, but honestly stupid. The Avengers fail to stop him, but through Stephen Strange's doing, manage to reverse time and actually stop him. I don't know I don't quite get what happened."
"Anyhow, to be honest I was just about to learn some genuine magic despite being a mere novice, then without warning God himself, or rather, the new God brought me to him and gave me magical powers, kind of like downloading them in me like a computer program, without me having to learn."
"I came here to learn more and thought since I was so weak compared to the rest of your students I should at least shape up a little bit before warning you."

@Listentomyrhytm

As yet another person appears in the middle of the sanctuary, the Saints' and Saints in training look on in shock, and Kageyama can hear whispers from them.

"Another one?" "They must be enemies afterall."

Other whispers of the sort can be heard, but none step forward, and they seem to be waiting to see what he does, or at least, that's how the majority of them are. From somewhere in the back however, he can hear someone speak up, their voice getting louder as they do, implying they're walking through the crowd and getting closer, although they aren't visible through the group yet.

"You're the second one, the first one didn't explain much at all, so, where did you two come from, and how did you end up in the Sanctuary out of nowhere?"

@Tago238

"Mhmmmm~. Learn, yes. Actually use? Pfffft, unless it involves what 'I' am, it's just there for me to flex that 'I' know it~!" The "girl snickers" out.

He would slowly turn at the source of the voices, trying to feel exactly where they are in case they attack. "There has been another person other than me? Interesting... regardless, I came here to get stronger in my abilities. I mean no harm, just merely wanting further control over my abilities... I believe you call 'Cosmos'?" He would add onto. "And I was gifted a device that allows me to travel through universes... It does not control exactly where I appear however, only in which universe."

"I imagined it was a two way situation with regards to your power. Still, you can manifest the effects of magic- they just don't affect anything but perception- that could still be useful..." he seems to be pondering the possibilities, using his breaker to give him some relevant information. Before he finished his thought, however, a fireball accelerates towards him. He bends time to allow him to dodge it and points his staff at the ghast, an octarine flare exits and turns the creature into a pumpkin with a weeping face upon impact. "However we should, uh, probably adjourn this discussion for now, heh, and go somewhere else to set up base?"

Samuel agrees with Diina and then goes to the bathroom to give her space while he changes his clothes, he put on a blue jean pants, a brown sweater, a blue coat and with his powers he created a red cap and hiding his ears in addition to using his hair also to hide his ears.

ZDM keeps playing with her cheeks.

"Heh, she's kinda cute actually, so I agree with keeping her."

It is unfortunate that she can dissapear from his mind whenever she wants, but oh well, life is extreme like that.

"So, priest, what did you want to give me anyway?"

He would slowly turn at the source of the voices, trying to feel exactly where they are in case they attack. "There has been another person other than me? He can see the source of the voice come through the crowd, a woman with a mask, and reddish brown hair. And she speaks again.

"So you're from another universe, and you know about cosmos?" She says, getting close enough she can whisper to him

"We can't exactly neglect another possible Saint in our current situation, regardless of where you come from. But just like your friend, you'll likely be under suspicion even if one of us helps train you, and you'll probably be asked more about how you got here, are you fine with this?"

"Well I've already given you an overview. But I do have spacewarping runes and magic wards on me currently, for your base"

"Of course of course! Hell isn't quite the easiest place to have a talk with."

He stops playing with Mythos's cheeks and ruffles her head a bit. Just because he is a horribly insane and amoral figure doesn't mean he doesn't have other things he enjoys.

Clapping his hands and placing them on the ground, he creates another Obsidian portal, and with a snap of his fingers he activates it.

"This should lead to somewhere good."

Nick finding a cave smiles and makes a wooden pick to get some stone and starts mining quickly gaining a stone sword and pick both of which he puts in hammerspace before sending out Ledyba and putting the net ball away.

"Ledyba?" It asks confused about the location.

"Oh," I say as I activating fire mode. "You see I have access to multiple realities this one happens to have a weird look and monsters appear in the darkness I need you to help me. you in?"

"Ledyba" it says in confirmation.

"Good!" I say walking into the cave now lit by my aura with Ledyba next to me. "Let's get some resources."

... To find a thoroughly intriguing area. This vault is a labyrinth of machine-worked metal, rusted or caked with toxic materials, with abandoned explosives around near every corner. Occasionally, there are giant vats of acid, composed of an otherwise fragile glass, or a massive lump of pink, wet tissue in case of a glass to be found. Many corridors are cut off entirely by thick ventilation pipes, strangely empty of material that has likely pooled into the deeper portions of this structure.

Even further, there is a great new variety of creatures here, or rather constructs. The vast majority of beings here are metallic constructs, robots, capable of flight or utilizing high-tech weaponry, such as missiles or flamethrowers. There are even some support robots, a medical class of sorts that heals the many creatures here. And it is not as though there are only mechanical creatures here, certainly not. There is an unusual variety of beasts: tentacled, floating pick things that can freeze their surroundings at will before crushing them; a sort of a greenish blob that aggressively hops about and divides into smaller entities when damaged; a strange, green floater, similar to the acid-blood things seen in the upper mines, but without that characteristic and with a single massive eye capable of projectile a laser beam taking up most of their body; a giant blue maggot that spits volatile material as an attack; and what appears to be the desiccated remains of some other creature entirely, forcibly reanimated until the body is thoroughly destroyed.

Exploring, the I-aught finds yet another Fungal Caverns at the topmost edge of the east side of the Vault. Considering how sharply it contrasts with the rest of this area, he decides to explore. The threats present here no longer being of much concern, he quickly finds a small pouch in the middle of the area, containing a pink, flakey material, a fungus. It is not aggressive like many of the others here, and contains an unnatural power that he cannot place, so he brings it with him for now.

Moving directly eastward, the foes of the Vault not proving to be much of a threat themselves with the exception of the vats of acid and certain explosives that spread the aforementioned material across a great area, another Lukki Lair, or rather another entrance to that place, is found. With his newfound immunities, the lair proves far, far less treacherous, although the various masters and the darkness remain a problem. Exploring the lair more thoroughly, he finds several new varieties of master and foes: the Kohdennusmestari, a strange red-tentacled being, whose projectiles cause the target to become a target of aggressive homing for all nearby attacks; the Satkymestari, a wizard with green flesh and a maw like the Kammolukki, whose attacks turn the target's magic and body against them with sporadic twitching; the Turvattomuusmestari, a dark-skinned wizard wearing a plain white mask, whose magic strips the target of all protective immunities, making it easily the greatest thread of this region; the Vaihdosmestari, a wizard of blue complexion with the image of a single eye emblazed upon it's head while lacking any true features, who passively swaps positions with his attackers, additionally doing so with a projectile; and a massive, walking mushroom, whose death creates a very large explosion. For later potential use, he makes sure to eat the remains of the masters he kills.

Traveling along the lair's floor of heavy stone, the I-aught eventually finds a drop-off deeper into the lair. Moving west after the drop, there is a wall of stone, prompting him to turn and head the opposite direction, eventually coming across something entirely new: a meticulously crafted room, seamlessly carved from the rock, with a lower center-pedestal, and a glowing orb containing a spiral pattern upon it. Viewing the orb, the I-aught almost instinctively moves towards it, and reaches out for it... and the orb disappears, leaving a spell and releasing great energies into the world. Newfound knowledge floods the I-aught's mind, great and arcane insights he barely comprehends.

In a daze, he works his way back the way he came and out of the lair, not truly recognizing his surroundings for a good few moments. Regaining his bearings, he continues down through the Vault. Near the bottom of the area, just above the Holy Mountain, there is a small floating platform of holy brickwork, with the image of an eye carved upon the sides. In the pouch he obtained before, the fungus feels almost alive, like it desires something. Taking some in his hand, he... eats it. Almost recoiling from his own hand at first, he is unsure what motivated that, but the results hit quickly, the ingested fungus making the world shimmer and swirl and swell around him with many vibrant colors. Soon, a book drops down onto the platform, having appeared mid-air, and there is a sudden feeling of alienation that comes over him like a wave. Curiously, he picks up the book, "Notes on Grand Alchemy", and reads from it:

"... Once finished, It will sustain life; to this end, its Creation asks for a substantial amount of Life Force. Let the Egg engulf One Hundred of your Foes and drink their Blood..."

He is not sure what to make of this, not at all, feeling like he was reading a manual and skipped the first dozen or so steps. Looking around, he notes something curious: what was a large pool of toxic sludge has now been replaced a dark brown whiskey. How exactly this could occur so rapidly and without gaining his attention eludes him, unless he was just really high at the time. Nonetheless, he makes his way down into the Holy Mountain, bringing the book along with him.

It is getting almost formulaic: the I-aught spends a moment looking at the section of spells, not wands this time strangely, taking whatever he finds interesting, and makes Stevari look like a bad joke, although this time he feels as though something is especially pissed with him. Ignoring it for now, he observes the perk selection: "Iron Stomach", "Exploding Corpses", "Permanent Shield", and "Extra Perk." He initially takes the Permanent Shield, totally three layers of protection now, with the others remaining, so he takes the second Extra Perk to see if it would stack for later areas, causing the rest to disappear. Feeling quite confident, he quickly drops into the Temple of the Art...

He can see the source of the voice come through the crowd, a woman with a mask, and reddish brown hair. And she speaks again.

"So you're from another universe, and you know about cosmos?" She says, getting close enough she can whisper to him

"...Yes, I am fine with it. As long as I can achieve greater strength, I am fine with whatever happens." He would respond quietly enough so she can hear him, as he nods. "...Although, I do not only know about Cosmos, but also about energies from other universes, of course my knowledge is... limited."

Halve leaned back against a tree, looking up at the sky. She closed her eyes as she tried to process the information that she was just told. God, everything seemed so strange. This seemed...so wrong.

“So...let me get this straight.” She looked down at the child and opened her eyes. The child looked anxious for a moment, and stumbled back. Apparently her appearance was frightening for The locals. She had gotten many stares recently. It felt odd.

“You have a friend, who is a purple member of a long extinct species, who appears to play with you...” she ran a hand through her synthetic hair. “And the thing that brings him to life is simply you...believing in him? or imagining him?”

”Uh...I guess?”

Halve nodded. Apparently the power of
imagination was...far better Than what her archive stated. Perhaps this power of imagination could be useful to her? perhaps she could observe it in action.

”...could you take me to him? Show me how you bring him to life?”

”Well, I don’t know. I’m not supposed to talk to-“

”Please?” She leaned forward, and the child jumped back.

”O-Okay, okay! Fine, I-I’ll take you there....”

”Excellent.“ Hopefully all it would take was a bit of examining, then she could harness this power of imagination.

She looks at him for a bit, before grabbing his arm and leading him out of the crowd, and toward a more remote area.

To show what she means, she grabs a nearby rock chunk, and Kageyama can see her burn some of her cosmo, as she crushes it with one hand.

Diina is wearing a blonde wig, a white dress shirt, a long black skirt, and a black blazer. She looks like your everyday upstart career woman. She even put on a bit of makeup, which she didn't have on before. She got fully dressed like that in a matter of a few minutes, she's quite impressive when it comes to efficiency.

"You don't look bad." She says to Sam while rummaging through drawers and stuff a few items into a medium sized purse which she also decided to pick up from the bedroom closet.

"After this we'll get on the subway, then a plane from the JFK Airport in Queens to the Los Alamos Airport."
She said to Sam.

"Now then, try to stay away from the windows..."
Diina took the phone that had been given to her by Sam, then tossed it out. It fell several stories down and cracked in half.

She then urges Sam to come over to her before saying.
"Sam... Do you think you could cut open a hole in the floor here? There's already people watching this apartment's windows and doors, and the authorities will arrive soon."

“Noios! Distract it now!” The flying wyverns swooped in near Deviljho’s head and scream at full volume, mimicking a monster roar, causing the Deviljho step back in surprise temporarily distracting from it’s opponent. Bazelgeuse saw it’s opponent was wide open but before it could strike it heard a loud voice “Hey! Mind if my boys help you out? We saw you were havin’ trouble with that fella over there and thought we could a hand as support! So temporary truce? We can talk after dealing with the other guy if you want.” It turned to see a small reptilian creature...a Kulu?

Jho having regained itself a little began to aggressively snap at the Noios as they tried desperately to keep it occupied. Bazelgeuse looked between the Tyrant and the brute wyvern. Normally it would squash this little creature but it did need some help here. It would watch this creature as they dueled the deviljho and see if they are worthy. It would cooperate for now. It nodded at Tyrant and that was all he needed to understand.

“Nice! We’ll keep him here while you prepare a bombing run. NOW!” Suddenly knives coated in some sort of liquid were thrown by the Gajalakas that had surrounded Jho while he was distracted. While knives most bounced off its hide, a few managed to find their way into a few newer scars it gained while fighting Bazel. Before it could turn its fury on the little creatures, it felt incredibly little headed and toppled to the ground asleep. The Gajalaka jumped up and down in celebration. Their sleep knives have done the trick! On top of that one them managed to get a hit with a poison knife, releasing poison into the Brute wyverns veins.

Bazel flew in a circle around Jho, sprinkling it’s scales as it did so creating a small pile around the sleeping monster. Then the flying wyvern took a nose dive downwards straight in to the Jho setting off the explosives scale as it did so. Jho roared in pain and rage as it tried to get up after the damage it had sustained. Several teeth were blown out from its mouth and chin. It felt the poison coursing through its veins and finally understood what was happening. It was getting teamed on. Things were going so well before now. The pain combined with the anger Jho felt caused its muscles to swell and tear open old scars as he bulked up becoming enraged.

After defeating the mother abomination, Apocrypha checks where he is supposed to go next

O H

The abomination turns dowards and turns it's hand into sharp mole-like paws, digging into the ground and into the flesh of the giant being ... entering.

Well, not like it is an actual womb and not just a giant flesh maze anyway.

Tearing his way into the boss room, it faces a Double Troubble Fallen, hardslapping them and causing them to split into 4 mini-fallens, then slapping those even harder into mush. Devil Room, getting something.

More tearing into the flesh, the Apocrypha arrives at the second boss area, where it finds Mom's Heart, at which points he pulls out them Bible again and throws it at the organ, instantly blowing it up. A chest appears, from which an arms come out and attempts to grappòe him, but he simply grabs back and swollows it.

No more ways to go fowards are present ... but if not in this seed, maybe in another ... he creates a portal, going into a different seed, and proceeding the bible slap the heart there too, then as the heart falls he create another portal, which causes him and the organ to crash into another iteration of the latter, and the anothr portal and another crushing, repeating this 9 times.

At the last portal jump, Apocrypha and 9 Heart corposes crush down on the unformed baby that is It Live, which causes it to become It ****** Dies and explode in a pool of gore.

With the trans-universal feasting done, the eldrich knight loots the 9 chests that spawned and proceeds down to break down another wall because screw the rules i have the power and goes into the Dead Womb.

There he finds a shop and some more items, but then it's time for an actual challenge Hush.

Phase 1, ??? baby, not the hardest of things, but it's room-wide tear streams still require tight dodging, but mindless attack spamming gets throught it fast.

Phase 2, giant head appears, danmaku commences. Using spider legs to dash around the streams of tears, Apocrypha counter bombards with it's own.

Phase 3, Flies and puppet bodies, I'MMA FIRING MAH LAZER !

Phase 4, even more danmaku. Repeat Phase 2 approch but MOAR

Phase 5, Giant eye lasers. Screw the lasers, dash directly into Hush and punt him against the wall !

Boss defeated ! Boss Eaten !

Nick has a unique method of mining instead of placing torches he relies on his being on fire to light the area and smelt metals, his camera to locate creepers, and mobs other than skeletons and zombies which are the most dangerous thank to this, all are handed rather easily still thanks to not actually noticing him out of the light from the fire. His method of dealing with the mobs is a combination of whip and sword slashes while Ledyba wrecks everything.

This method is surprisingly effective in the end there is 4 stacks of coal, half a stack of iron along with full iron equipment, 16 gold, 2 stacks of redstone, five stacks of stone and various mob drops however he is out of wood. With that he leaves with Ledyba in their poke ball.

"Back to the village." I say.

(Will probably make a bigger post later today)

@Crimson

the Nether Portal opens up into a different, but still blocky environment; A large desert, with a pyramid-like temple in the distance. There's a desert village there as well, but from the cobwebs and broken pieces around it, it appears to have been abandoned some time ago.

While this helped Jho recover and get back up, it caused a new problem. It had several new open wounds that gave the Gajalakas more areas to hit. More poison knives were flung towards its injuries ensuring the poison would not leave the creatures system. Blinded by anger, it leaped at Bazelgeuse before it could take off again, biting down on the tail. It aggressively swung its head dragging the flying wyvern around and flung it into one of the Anthills, shattering it. Just as he was about to unleash his dragon element breath however...

Deviljho found that he couldn’t move. The Gajalaka cheer once again as their paralysis knives seemed to have stopped the creature in it’s tracks. Bazel got up, now enraged itself. It’s scales and upper body began to glow orange as it rammed into Jho at full force creating a massive explosion.

Jho was sent flying. In addition to the poison, the damage he was taking was starting to show. Tyrant decided it was time to finish this.

“Meowlotovs! Keep it surpressed!” The Gajalaka suddenly pulled out some strange red vases and began tossing them at the jho’s wounds. They did basically no damage but it wouldn’t change much if they did. The poison combined with a two massive blows it had taken have tremendously weakened it. It barely had the strength to stand. Bazel ran past Tyrant and the Gajalaka and grabbed Jho in some sort of bear hug with its wings and suddenly it’s scales went of all at once. Once the smoke cleared, the explosive flying wyvern was standing over the corpse of the dead brute wyvern.

“So are we cool now?” Tyrant asked as he approached the explosive wyvern. Bazel looked at Tyrant for a second before nodding.

“We have a new team mate!”

One of the Gajalaka approaches Tyrant and began to speak “Master there is something We wanted you to know.” Tyrant looked towards surprised, he knew they could talk but they had been silent up until now. “Our former master, The Gajalaka Chief, he would want to meet you. He could greatly expand your ranks with more Gajalaka but their is a problem...We don’t think he will be as easily convinced as us. He is stubborn and will try to test your strength.”

Tyrant grinned at the thought of doing some fighting himself but frowned and looked at Jho body. “I’ll visit him soon but I’m going to make some make some armor and weapons out of this creature...then I’ll visit the other dimensions and show off to those other summoned guys a little THEN we can come and talk to the Cheif.” As he went to work of carving Jho, the Gajalaka stood confused for a moment “Other dimen-...what?”

The two of them mange to escape shifting underground an onto the underground train. They take the train all the way towards JFK airport.

It seems that no one recognizes them.

After a lengthy period of assimilating countless creatures, the Sin has amassed to something respectable, now. 5 Meters in length, capable of easily creating smaller beings if necessary, five of which still linger, even if mostly through their own regenerative properties after inevitably taking many blows from their targets.

All the same, with the layer of flesh restored, another step had to be taken...

Clasping his breaker in his hand, the maker realizes there is another dimension within this realm... The Nether.

As per how to get there... well, that's something else to figure out, as the sin starts to make their way into a desert... It seems to spawn an equal amount of monsters to the forests, ones which are easily added to the pile of pyreflies.

Though, as the maker continues, pondering how to advance his goals, he spots a purple glow through the darkness, emanating from a portal of blackened stone... Perhaps that could be a lead. Though, a few other entities are coming forth from such a place, the ones they met alongside Izanagi... Hopefully they don't cause a disturbance, as the sin and it's spawn approach.

"You'll have to show me those energies sometime. In any case, I'll quickly explain Cosmos, and see if that helps you understand how to use it. It typically takes many years for one to train to do this, but there have been exceptions of course, even people doing it with no training." She says

"15 billion years ago, the universe started with an explosion from a single point. Everything in the universe was born then, composed of atoms, everything from the stars above, to the earth below was made by that bang. So in a sense, your own body is a microcosmos, to use that energy, just feel the universe within yourself, and cause it to explode, that's how you can burn up and use your energy to perform all sorts of feats."

Seeing that I have nothing more to do in Genshin, I then go on to Gensokyo, hoping to look for a certain someone.

@Andykhang

As you enter Gensokyo, you pop out into the middle of a large forest. The instant you pop into existence, you already have an extreme feeling of being... watched.

Inferring from the feeling of the gaze itself, I bow down in apology.

"My apology that I came in such a way, I just want to find someone and learn from them, before going on my way."
