Man do i love some vampire fights, especially ones that are kind of balanced like this, Shalltear has the beginning advantage in regards to AP with a rough 2.4x, but Vlad by far has the skill advantage and intelligence, being a master strategist, a unparalled duelist amongst vampires outside of Abhorash, and at least a couple thousand years of experience. They both counter each others intangibility and summons (though Vlad can vastly out number her summons by the tens of thousands but he would VERY quickly learn this is a bad thing from watching her heal from it) She has better resistances that will keep him from quickly ending the fight and her Holy special attacks will help deal extra damage to him that will slow his natural vampiric regeneration, and his use of dark magic will is something she is weak against. Both of their weapons let them heal from dealing from damage. However this is when the tables start tilting in one favour over the other...
Firstly, his natural regeneration is directly superior to hers, acting significantly faster, nigh instantly, beginning to heal from damage in the middle of still taking said damage, and while vampires are weak to certain things like holy elements, significantly lesser vampires can still regenerate very quickly from said damage albeit at a reduced rate, with Vlad being far stronger than them, being able to regenerate from any and all wounds dealt outside of destruction of the heart...however, this is also not his only form of regeneration, having Mid-High regeneration due to his ring, being able to regenerate from being turned to ashes and even exploding into a mist and if the worst comes to happen and she SOMEHOW bypasses this and gets an actual kill, he will simply come back full strength a half a day later (which is under the incap time limit) and unlike her resurrection, he can do this an unlimited amount of times instead of just once. This ring also magically protects him from attacks as well, improving his chances of defending against her holy attacks, which she can't afford to waste as they either have limited use or cost mana, on top of this, she can't destroy the ring, as she would have to somehow over power the magic of Nagash who created the ring (as that spell is reliant on the spell casters magical power vs the object).
He can also VERY quickly surpass her initial AP advantage with literally dozens of different buffs of varying scale, and unlike her speed boost, he can fully attack and make use of the increased stats and attack her, as well as stack all of them if he was hard pressed enough. Another important detail about all of this, is a significant number of her powers can only work so many times a day before she can't use them any more, while the rest of her things require mana, which while immense WILL eventually run out, with most being countered by magic shields, using meatshields, illusions, completely negating the damage, tanking it, or simply dispelling it/powernulling it before it becomes a threat to him. Meanwhile, his magic doesn't use mana whatsoever, he can cast any kind of spells all day without running out of anything...
Her biggest boon here honestly is her Einherjar, which is going to be a pain in the ass, while it can't use any magic or special skills, it's still just as physically powerful as her main body and will be a problem, however, he has numerous methods of dealing with both of her fairly easily, as he has some major trump cards that she doesn't resist, the biggest one being the Lore of Shadows, Ulgu, which lets him cast some busted ass illusions that straight up ignore and trick even magical senses.
Like Mindhole and Mindslip which literally force the victim to straight up forget the very existence of the caster, Complete illusion which is a permanent and self perpetuating illusion that would make Aizen blush, Occam's Mindrazor which is a psychic slash attack that deals physical damage and if the target actually thinks it kills them it kills them instantly and most importantly Ribauld's Retroactive illusion, which literally sends an illusion back in time so that the victim has always been in the illusion the entire time. He even has a form of Izanagi in the form of Confound Foe, which can be cast EVEN IF THE CASTER IS ALREADY DEAD, negating their death entirely as if it never happened (as it technically never did now)
He also has numerous hax that she doesn't resist like transmutation, turning her into a crystal statue, or using a number of different aging spells that age the victim to dust, even immortals like Elves and vampires who are utterly immune to aging die in seconds. (she can negate these obviously with things like Time Reverse, but again, she can only do that 3 times a day, where can just keep using it to his hearts content)
