Shrek's durability shouldn't be 9-A.
Assuming he weighs 300 lbs or 136 kg, and saying that he got launched 100 meters into the air...
136 * 9.8 (gravity) * 100 = 133,280 Joules, or Wall level.
Or let's be nice and say Shrek was launched 300 meters.
136 * 9.8 * 300 = 399,840 Joules, Wall level. Let's compare that to
this feat.
I had to use good ol Pythagorean's theorem.
Ryuko's height is 90 px and I'll assume that she's 170 cm tall.
That's 1.88 cm per pixel.
The green line is 51 px and the red line is 91.
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
51^2 + 91^2 = 104^2, so 104 px for the hypotenuse, or the distance the guy travelled.
104 * 1.88 = 1.95.52 meters, which I will round up to 2 meters.
That would be 8 m/s, assuming a timeframe of 1/4th of a second.
I'll use the average human weight, 62 kg. I'll multiply it by four because she sent four dudes flying with one hit, and get 248 kg.
Plugging that into a Kinetic Energy Calculator with 8 m/s for the velocity gets me 7,936 Joules, or Wall level.
So although it shouldn't be 9-A, Shrek's durability is 16 to 50 times higher than Ryuko's AP.
However Ryuko has 9-A durability as well, and it may or may not be to a higher degree. Combine that with her Regenerationn and this matchup is inconclusive either way.
