Striking Strength Values

The values in the blog can be used for the Striking Strength page. However, it does seem like that implementing this could take some time to complete.

However, Dark649 mentioned this when he was adjusting profiles once before.

I have seen people mess up a lot with the (+) feature.

Sometimes when the (+) is warranted, they forget to put it. An example of this is several 7-A characters here having plain Class PJ rather than Class PJ+. I have also seen some High 6-C characters with Class EJ rather than Class EJ+ and High 6-B characters with Class ZJ instead of Class ZJ+.

But sometimes the (+) is put there without justification. A perfect example of this is some 9-C and lower end 9-B characters having Class KJ+ striking strength instead of just plain Class KJ.

Here is what I replied when Lina asked me about this on my message wall:

"Well, I agree that Polar-kun caused our striking strength values to turn into a mess, but we are already very busy, and do not have the time and energy for major content revisions within the foreseeable future.

In addition, I removed the energy-reliant definition of the abbreviations, as they no longer fit with our improved attack potency scale.

If we perform such a revision at some point within the future, it would be much preferable to simply follow our standard attack potency values with "Building level class", "Mountain level class", etcetera."

Note: This is not a revision project. This is just an update for the values for Striking Strength in direct relation to his/her Attack Potency.

This will only affect profiles from Class H to Class XGJ, so only Tier 10 to Tier 4 characters will be affected.

By the way, this is absolutely not a revison thread. This thread/blog was intended to clear up any misunderstandings about striking strength that some of the users have. I believe that Dark649 brought this up the first time when he was editing profiles.

Well, we should also not spell out any of the original energy values. I specifically got rid of them because they did not at all fit into our modified attack potency chart.

This thread is extremely inappropriate, as it could potentially lead to lots of problems for the staff and the structure of the wiki.

Please read my responses in the following thread to understand why:

https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/661569

In any case, I agree that the system that Polar-kun left us is extremely flawed, and should preferably eventually be replaced with a copy of our attack potency ratings, but it is extremely problematic to do so, both in terms of massive amounts of time spent for the staff, and in terms of figuring out the appropriate corresponding ratings for so many profiles.

In addition, we are extremely busy with other projects at the moment.

As such, it seems best if I close this thread.
