Kirby vs Sonic

I though this battle would be interesting since of the new upgrades to Sonic. You already know the rules of a battle.

Kirby stumbles across planet Mobius after entering an intergalactic wormhole. Sonic takes this as a threat to his world, and is not holding back.

Round 1: Both Kirby and Sonic are bloodlust with speed equalized, Sonic has access to the Super Emeralds (Hyper Sonic), and Kirby has access to all copy abilities except for Super Weapons. Fight takes place in Green Hills Zone. Kirby: 5 Sonic: 0

Well, it seems my original thread died so I'll answer this one. Kirby should win. His abilities are more versatile and more haxxed, he's stronger, and Sonic's reality warping won't work on Kirby due to the latter's resistance.
 
tbh it depends if sonic has all his abilities prior to hyper i can think harder if not kirby wins via more abilities and haxxxxx. Though the OP didn't specify which sonic so i will assume this is hyper sonic

I'll change it now, OP says Super Emeralds, but whatever. Both Sonic and Kirby have all abilities. Kirby: 2 Sonic: 0
 
to be frank i haven't voted @speedster give me time to think first
 
Like I said in cal's thread Sonic dose not seem to to have a way to actually defeat Kirby with Kirby's imortality and other factors and it seems like Kirby could defeat Sonic like this so i'm going with Kirby.
 
Kirby would curbstomp Sonic. I'm not even sure if Sonic can actually hurt him lol.

Hyper straight off the bat. Pretty sure the time limit is game mechanics. Didn't know you already made a thread on this cal, should I close it? Or his yours dead?

The time limit is mentioned in the profile, I was asking if it would apply to this battle. I'm guessing it won't apply to this battle because if it did all Kirby would have to do is wait out the time limit before utterly destroying Sonic.

tbh if it wasn't for that immortality i think sonic would have won via hax as he has more notable ones (arguably) that can take kirby down. But because of immortality and self-ressurection i am giving it to the puffball as has a ton of variety to boot

But yeah, Hyper can't beat Kirby. Now I'm wondering who would win: Kirby at its fullest (Super Weapons allowed) vs Darkspine.

Sonic doesn't have the world rings in this fight. It's only the Super Emeralds. It's so the fight isn't a complete stomp

We know Sonic can't pass Hyper in this thread nor beat Kirby in said form.
 
I don't know the difference in speed, but Kirby should take this via tons of variety and hax that is sure to keep Sonic on his toes aside from that.
 
I gave kudos to all the Kirby votes to help me count.

I think it's one or two more than seven straight votes for Kirby, although some of the comments seemed a bit too vague. But the original post says 5 for Kirby, 0 for Sonic.

I actually don't even see a single vote for Sonic that hasn't changed their mind yet.
