I am hoping the split starter theory is real since I am Team Litten but I don't like Beltigre...
 
Soon we'll overtake the DBS threads in numbers...

So, the new mini games they showed off look fun. Basic, but fun. Seems like S/M will have lots of community features which is cool in my book.
 
Yeah they will. Also they finally addressed what Pokemon in the PC actually do.
 
Well they will be going to islands and doing crap such as training and finding items. Also wild pokemon may join your team. Also it implies that the pokemon PC is just a little relaxing hub world for the pokemon.
 
I always knew it was something like that.....

anyway we have 45 more days to go before the release....i thinking of doing a playthrough an uploading it here or somewhere else maybe...
 
It be weird that they advertise Mega Evolutions and then not add new ones. I wonder if they do, if the new Megas are gonna be of oldschool Pokemon or Alolan ones, or a blend.

It's one of the few non legendary pokemon without a mega to be in uber.
 
And for a pretty crappy reason I might add :/

I also hear its pretty useless in Ubers regardless.
 
I just realized. Now that Ash-Greninja is in the game, does it at least imply that the anime and games are apart of each other? Ash-Greninja is a form that takes place ONLY with Ash and his specific greninja. The fact that his greninja can do so must imply Ash exists somewhere in the games as it makes no sense Greninja can do the form without Ash.
 
I want the Porygon line to get some more love. Porygon did next to nothing in the anime, and Pory2 and Z were banned from the anime simply because Porygon was so commonly associated with the seizures.

It's no fair. ;-;
 
Speaking of. In ORAS if you spoke with Steven during the Delta Episode with that Shiny event Beldum they gave during ORAS's launch he'd mention fighting Rayquaza alongside a black Charizard obviously referring to the events of Act II of the Mega Evolution specials. Though this could very well just be an Easter egg. Also apparently Ash will be appearing in the SM Demon so there's that too.

Pretty sure that 100% means Ash in some way exists in Sun and Moon. You can't have a form that involves Ash and Greninja......without Ash i mean. Otherwise the form in general would be impossible to happen in the game. The only way this would be different is if somehow Greninja can use the Ash-Greninja form without his bond partner Ash, which, seems completely impossible.

I know what your talking about. Though not literally, it extremely implies Steven was talking about Alain as Alain is the only character in the verse with a Charizard who has been shown to meet and fight alongside Steven so its doubtful he is talking about someone else.

In the trailer itself, Ash-Greninja forms from a bond with your character, not Ash. I wouldn't be surprised if there's an Ash cameo, but it doesn't seem like he's needed for Ash-Greninja.
 
Azoth, true but could it mean Ash just taught the people in the game how to do the transformation? And if that wasn't the case then why would the form be specifically called ASH-Greninja during play?

Whether Ash is in the verse with greninja or is just their to teach it to others, the source of it has to have Ash involved somehow as, iirc, the Bond Phenomenon speciecally requires it. And if Ash wasn't in the same verse, then how can his technique be applied without him brining it to S/M somehow?

I don't know really ATM I just feel it doesn't make sense to not include Ash with his specific transformation.
 
It's possible that the player during that gameplay phase was called "Ash", and that the name changes depending on the player's name.
 
Ok, we need to do some Diance calcs. She didnt make that diamond with a move, according to her dex entries she made it by compressing carbon molecules in the atmosphere.

Actually her diamond creating might be even higher than just high 6-A. The Diamond Diancie was required to create wasnt just a normal diamond. It was a Heart Diamond, which is supposed to be the main source of power and life energy for the entire Diamond Kingdom. And iirc, the Diamond Kingdom is as big as Kalos is underground. The Heart Diamond constantly releases its energy in order to stablize life in the Diamond Kingdom every min of every day, so Diancie would be required to imput that much energy into a new Heart Diamond as well. And I believe the previous Heart Diamond has kept the Diamond Kingdom in balance for hundreds of years or just many many years, so how much energy would Diancie be required to replicate going by that?

In addition to this, Diancie in just her base form casually create a Diamond that was eventually revealed to be her Mega Stone, which gave her the power to Mega Evolve and go against Yveltal's power to begin with. And this was before Diancie even received power from Xerneas...
