Question about the "Range" category on character pages?

Hello everyone,

Some of the concepts of the measuring system are a bit hard for me to wrap my head around (such as the difference between High Hyperverse and Outerverse but I think I got the hang of it now) but I had a question about determining range as some of it is hard for me to determine.

For example for the Elder Scrolls, I understand Sovngarde is High Hyperversal, but what would planes of Oblivion be, would some be higher than others due to Oblivion's nature? Or if in another game (e.g. Devil May Cry or Kingdom Hearts) someone travelled to a different realm how exactly would we quantify the range (like Multiversal+ or something) they can reach or travel to? And what exactly is the difference between Complex Multiverse and Multiversal+ and how would their in-universe abilities showcase it?

Thank you :)

1. Not sure about the Oblivion stuff. Probably 1-A but don't quote me on that, you're better off asking a knowledgeable member of TES on their walls.

2. Without any further context about the nature of the realms, Interdimensional range.

3. Multiversal+ range allows your abilities or powers to reach infinite space-time continua. Complex Multiversal range allows your attacks to reach throughout structures that are equivalent to 7-9 dimensional real-coordinate space.

The only noticeable in-verse difference is that while the former can reach across infinite universes, the latter can reach higher levels of existence.

Hope that helps.

Thank you that really helps to put things into perspective for me! So it basically boills down to planes of existence and transendance of realms as opposed to just distance, right?

I'll ask one of the admins about my Oblivion question but thank you again! :)

No problem, happy to help.

Should I ask an admin to close this or do you have anything else to add?

I am hoping for someone to see if they can give additional information, but if you think asking an admin personally would be better, I'd be fine to close the thread :)
