Both of them are at the peak of their power.

Speed is equalized.

"Alright the combatants are set lets end this debate once and for all." Death Battle.

this is basically sasuke vs ichigo just its the protaganists duking it out i think....

R1: ichigo is haxless, naruto has some hax very useful in battle. Naruto. R2: ichigo blitzes.

Same with the Ichigo vs Sasuke thread. Ichigo gets deafeated in R1 due to versatility and hax advantage, and stomps due to speed in R2, unless Naruto forms a sphere around himself with the TSB and Ichigo goes head first into it getting deleted, which is highly unlikely.

Ichigo will absorb anything Naruto throws at him, with his new dual sword ability. (When he constantly absorb Yhwach's reiatsu, to power up and awaken his hollow form.) Also, as Aizen said, the strongest reiatsu can negate the opponents abilities.

People confuse reiryoku with reiatsu and ignore completly are the abilities that reiatsu grands the user.

Not this again.
So, I supposed we should ignore that chakra gives them the ability to run faster, teleport, use jutsus and have super strenght. You cannot, ignore abilities even if energy is equalized. Reiatsu (spiritual pressure) is an extention of the energy of the verse, Reiryoku (spiritual energy) Wherever you like it or not. If energies are equalized, TSB can't harm Ichigo since Reiryoku will equal Yin relase . (spiritual energy, as they are both called.)

Reiryoku has limits and can drain the user of his stamina, however Reiatsu is limitless as long as the hearts keeps beating. (Example: Absorbing a Reiatsu attack, that can be held in place such as Yhwach's energy around him, will only cause the opponent to explode. Take Ichigo's case for example, he was absorbing little by little, he never stood there absorbing the whole thing.)

No, not really. Reiryoku will be equaled to Chakra since that's the most basic form of energy Narutoverse uses.

The TSB can be countered only by Senjutsu, Yin-Yang Release has nothing to do with it. The TSB are a combination of all Chakra Natures and if fused with Yin-Yang they have the power to nullify Ninjutsu. This doesn't mean someone who can perform Yin-Release techniques is immune to the TSB. Shikamaru can use Yin-Release for ex. and he sure is not immune to them.

EDIT: @Uchihazinon

Read this thread

R1)I say Naruto 6.5/10.Naruto may have a lot of elemental manipulation as well as most rasengan attacks but that countered by Ichigo's energy absorption. Both have pseudo flight.Naruto may have teleportation(I can't remember the ending to well) which if combined with some attacks could win him the match. His shadows clones can overwhelm Ichigo and considering he doesn't know how their mechanics work. But due to how Ichigo uses a sword as his main method of attack he might be able to get Naruto in one good and very lucky swing.

R2)Ichigo 10/10

Not sure if Naruto has some ridiculous hax I missed.

Naruto is a better strategist than Ichigo. Ichigo rushes head into battle and gets flustered. Naruto also has more experience than Ichigo. Ichigo only has like two or three long range attacks making his moves very predictable. Naruto has better combat skill than Ichigo also.

So Rasengan spam is any better then gestuga spam?

Why rasengan? He has 9 different styles of rasenshuriken and tailed beast bombs. And I said more experience because he has been fighting longer than Ichigo. A guy who started fighting from 15 years old and is now 17 does not have more experience than someone who is the same age that has been fighting since 8 or 7 years of age maybe slightly younger.

Technically naruto and Ichigo are older than what I said currently but it's suitable for them to fight at the ages of 17. Rasenshuriken can do more damage than a getsuga. Naruto is not stupid enough to use a rasengan which is close range against a getsuga which is long range. Also the shadow clones of naruto's actually learn from experiences and what is learnt after the shadow clone is gone goes to the real naruto.

I agree with this. Ichigo is self-learner, he fights with instint and as the batttle goes adapting to his enemies. He only train 4 times, basics of Zanjutsu by Urahara, Bankai by Yourichi, how to control his hollow by the vizards and his training at the royal palace.

False. Both of them got Six Path Chakra, but only Naruto got senjutsu with his six path, while Sasuke obtain the Rinnegan. Your argument is false since Sasuke was standing on a TSB without senjutsu.

I meant the Sage of Six Paths chakra, somehow confused it with Senjutsu. Both Sage modes, easy to confuse. My point still stands.
Sage of Six Paths chakra, is Yin and Yang. My point remains the same. Hagoromo gave Naruto Six Path power of Yang and SIx Path power of Yi to Sasuke. A.K.A. Six Path Chakra.

^So you're saying that Ichigo will be unaffected by the TSB because he apparently has Yin release via verse equalization?

Isn't that the point of equalizing energies or does that only applied to Genjutsu. If you ask me Sasuke has no Reiatsu, and is NOT energy. So, it can't be equalized. Unless, you want to give Naruto character's technique that they don't have, example; like easily making a illusion with Reiatsu/Charka. Or given them a six sense/Reikakku thanks to reiatsu. I didn't think so.

Umm, verse equalization means that Naruto's chakra is = to Ichigo's Reiryoku. What they do with said energy is completely irrelevant. Just because someone has Chakra doesn't mean you can do techniques associated with Chakra. Same thing with Reiryoku.

Exactly, Six path Yin & Yang are just a different variation of Chakra which = Reiryoku here. Just how Reishi (Spiritual particles), would applied here as well, since they are both energies from the same original energy equalized.

Since both Six path power of Yin, and Reiryoku are "identify" as spirutal energy. Ichigo is inmune to it, by energy equalization.

^And there's where you're wrong.

You're failing to realize that the normal Yin-Yang Release is completely different from Rikudo's Yin and Yang power. Everyone in Naruto has the normal Yin-Yang Release, it's the basis for molding chakra. Shikamaru can use Yin-Release with his Shadow Technique, also all Genjutsu come from Yin-Release. While Yang-Release is responsible for vitality.

Rikudo's Yin and Yang power is possessed only by Hagoromo and latter passed on to Naruto and Sasuke.

Verse equalization doesn't mean that you get to have all the kinds of energies in said verse, only the basic one everyone uses.

Exactly, now you're compairing, Yin-Yang with Yin and Yang. Chakra is a combination of Yin-Yang a whole different energy from Yin and Yang seperatly, humans can't use it seperatly.

Where was Shikamura shadows been shown to be affected by a TSB?

So, even with energy been equalized, Ichigo won't be able to harm Naruto since he doesn't have Six Path Chakra, that would be a stomp. You're saying that spiritual energy =/= spiritual energy, which doesn't make sense. The energy is equalized here, for the battle to happen, Ichigo should have six path chakra. Making him inmune anyways. Lmaoo

ScarletFirefly said:
Really? How in the world does Shikamaru's Shadow relate to the TSB. I merely mentioned it to prove that the technique is derived from the Yin power.
Six Paths Yang Power

Yang Release

Six Paths Yin Power

Yin Release

Hagoromo's Yin and Yang power are one level above the normal Yin and Yang.

EDIT: Also since when you must have the six paths chakra to harm Naruto exactly?
So? It was not affected. Making your future point irrevelant.

What "technique" Six Path of Yin and Yang are not techniques, but energies. You mean Yin and Yang from Hagoromo are one level above Yin-Yang, that's like the "trancendt" formula in Bleach, and still falls under the same energy.

In Naruto you can't harm six path user's without having six path chakra. Either, Naruto can't use Six Path mode here, or it's equalized so Ichigo can harm him, making inmune to TSB in the process.

Round 1: So basically Ichigo restricted.

Round 2: Ichigo unrestricted.

Gotta give it all to Ichigo as I think he has more striking power. Though he would be at a disadvantage against Naruto's shadow-clones.

Round 1: Ichigo should win with extremely high-difficulty.

Round 2: The massive difference in speed allows Ichigo to blitz and he sould take this with mid-difficulty. With enough prep-time, Naruto will find a way to last in the fight by out strategizing Ichigo with his subtitutions and shadow-clone techniques. Naruto has much more to offer than that, but I cannot think of anything else to add.

What should we take away from this? That this isn't a bloodlusted Ichigo and he will NOT try to blitz and strike Naruto down unless provoked to do so. That is the way Ichigo and Naruto are certainly in most cases. Making prep-time and strategizing for Naruto possible.

I do not agree with this over simplified logic, and this is why.

Naruto's early years hardly count as legitimate experiance towards this deathbattle simply because before the age of 14 (I believe) he wasn't going up against killers and other shinobi, but Naruto was facing his bullies.

So if you're counting ages 7 to 17 as experiance for Naruto, I'm going to count ages 5 to 17 as experiance for Ichigo because his mother always took him to his karate sessions. This gives Ichigo 12 years of experiance, yet those early years do not do Ichigo any good towards this battle.

It wasn't until the age of 15 that both Naruto and Ichigo began facing an intesifyed threat that propelled both protagonists forward through their stages of evolution, probably age 14 for Naruto.

Lastly, here is the main reason I cannot agree with you. Ichigo gained deathbattle experiance by becoming a soul reaper to traverse alternate afterlifes to save his friends and loved ones from annihilation.

Naruto gained deathbattle experiance by becoming a shinobi and accomplishing assigned missions to show his worth. Eventually his reason for getting stronger was to protect his loved ones and ultimately save Saksuke from hatred and despaire.

Now the types of battles and the styles of enemies that both Ichigo and Naruto face are completely different from one another. Sure Naruto can develope strategies to fight against other humans around his level, but Ichigo on the other hand is always facing spiritual who are more than a tier above him (likely because they are a 100 years older than him) so he resorts to getting stronger by force and has not the time to develope said strategy.

Naruto had gone to school for strategy. Ichigo has not.

Now how does one compare experiance between a ninja and a soul reaper when they both had about the same number of intensified supernatural battles? It's just completely illogical.

Both moves can be charged up, so the winner here goes to whoever can make the strongest attack the quickest and with the best accuracy at launch.

Also, Getsuga Tenshou is an any distance attack as it can be used for close range and long range. This is confirmed when Ichigo wrapped his getsuga around his zanpakuto when fighting Ulquiorra Cifer.

^ Don't forget that Naruto has considerable experience with his Shadow Clones. Also Naruto is arguably more intelligent when it comes to battle just from the nature of his combat style. He's very versatile and can devise plans with multiple stages and even the likes of the Hokage have commended him for his intelligence and unpredictability.

Also, the Rasengan is also a long distance attack in the form of RasenShuriken and Bijudama RasenShuriken, even more so than the Getsuga Tenshou, and cuts down to cellular level.

Naruto through the use of sage mode can sense an individual's presences and emotions. Both Ichigo and naruto have great reaction time but however due to naruto's sensory enhancement via sage mode this makes reacting to ichigo's attacks slightly easier due to the fact that he does not need to keep his eyes fully focused on Ichigo when ever Ichigo initiates high speed manoeuvres. He can just react via sensing ichigo's presence and extremely high spiritual energy. The nine tails also boosts the sensory abilities of sage mode also.

Ichigo is not speed blitzing naruto. Naruto has reacted to kaguya's attacks as soon as it came out of the portal. He also speed blitz kaguya and black zetsu by cutting kaguya's arm off. This was not even a sneak attack and he did it from a considerably long distance away and on top of that kaguya and zetsu were in the air when this happened. Sasuke tried to do his rinnegan switching technique and attack kaguya straight after with the chidori and that would not work on kaguya. So Naruto indeed is not slow.
