Connor Kenway vs Shay Cormac

If Connor couldn't hold his own against Haytham and had to resort to his Hidden Blades to kill him, then I don't see how he could keep up with someone just as skilled as Shay.
 
Oh yeah, forgot about that completely.

Well, Shay still has better equipment, more range and is still considerably more skilled than Connor is so I'll take Shay low to mid-diff.

Is he in open battles though? Connor could cut down hundreds ******* dudes on open battlefield with no problem.
 
Oh yeah, Shay's had plenty of experience in that regard too. Remember, he grew up as a brawler and picked plenty of bar fights after his dad died before being approached for the Brotherhood. Not only that, he also had a knack for fighting against pirates alongside his dad too.

Like, it's literally part of his characteristic to just blatantly enter into a fistfight he found irritating.
 
Yeah but, Connor fought literally on the battlefield with so many armored men. Connor just goes into an literal army of men and goes to trash them like they are nothing with not even use of pistols.
 
Shay's already had a first-hand experience of the exact same situations during the 7-Years-War when he fought against countless French legions and served a brief stint with Haytham himself.
 
Gotta give this to Shay

Their arsenals aren't too different but the issue is Shay has massive experience with killing Assasins like Connor but to my knowledge Connor doesn't have much in killing templars who are trained as Assasins

There's Haytham but neither were at full potential (Connor was injured and Haytham wanted to die by that point)
