Yeah anyone who read Rakudai up to that point (somehow) would have the same reaction

Anyways, Mori Jin absolutely yeets Cole at close range, does he have a way to deal with ionic drain or being blasted?

Well, that scene IS nonsense when it happens, but it becomes more logical after the Edelweiss clone appears, and its make clear the clones are only physical copies, not mental ones.

First things first, Jin getting into CQC will result in him getting neuro drained to death unless he has a way to counter that, same applies to his clones

Secondly, prescision is a very good speed amplification for Cole that will make Jin appear slow by comparison.

Thirdly, Cole's range, especially with SBA in play is massive.

I don't recall these shockwaves being anywhere near as strong as their physicality.

Except both matches got removed for being Stomps because they resisted his only form of dura negation

I mean now it's pain manipulation so eh

Just wait for the new ikki so i can get back to you with Despacito Hax Ikki

Mori stomps in CQC thanks to the massive skill and AP advantage he's bringing. Cole's regen helps with the beating, and his abilities actually counter acupuncture pretty well. Regen null gets countered by the fact he can shrug off a beam that is meant to shut down his powers, bio and blood shenanigans get countered by the fact that neither Sasha's tar or the Ray Sphere plague could mess up his body. But still, considering Mori's AP and skill, its likely that Cole get his head turned to mush rather quickly.

Now, SBA distance means that Cole has some room to work with. While Mori has some ranged attacks, they don't match Cole's range (wind) or need a bit of set up (ice), whereas all Cole needs to do is lift his arm and fire.

Mori's skill and prediction definitely means he can dance his way through Evil Cole's salvo of attacks, but many of his grenades and rockets have some devent AoE and homing attacks such as stalker grenade and sticky rocket are gonna be a pain. Although Mori's wind kicks may be enough to divert them off course.

Cole can maybe keep Mori at bay with blasts such as Punch, Nightmare and AoE lightning bursts, but it a coin toss. Summons will only serve as a minor distraction, but they could end up helping.

Given Cole's ability to multitask while fighting, I think it's likely that he either nabs Mori with an Ionic Drain before he gets his pancakes flipped with Renewal Taekwondo given that he'll quickly get fed up with Mori dodging his attacks and beating the shit out of him in a fist fight.

As far as my knowledge can take me, the best shot Mori has is going for something liek Bo Bup to close the distance and **** up Cole before he has the time to gather his thoughts, but after that it is a big throw whether he can finish him off before he drains or not, or if it even may work.

>Pain manip

>Mori can turn off his pain on top of shrugging off shattered bones and holes in is body

Top kek

Anyway, with regards to this fight, as Lance said, Mori's best option is to close the gap at the start of the fight and just meme on Cole. To my knowledge, Cole is one to spam ranged attacks right? Mori isn't a huge fan of that. So if he sees Cole start off just abusing his range advantage he will apply acupuncture on himself to get in and fight CQC.

Will acupuncture work on Cole? It works on the cellular level and can paralyse and cause immense amounts of pain.

Applying Acupuncture on himself, I assume this is a speed amp, Cole having prescision to amp helps with this.

PTSO talked about the Acupuncture

Even then he needs to hit Cole to Acupuncture

Thats more or less the point of Be Bop, which let someone that wasn't Mori keep up and more or less replicate the movement of a dude teleporting to the other side of an island. He just instantly appeared right besides him.

Acupuncture gets covered by power null resistance, but if Mori applied it to himself it'd be a problem since he can still boost his speed/stats by like the double digits.

Acupuncture can still cause pain tho. But Cole can keep Mori away by spreading lightning over his body to serve as defense.
