How would you scale this?

Bloodlusted Character A catches Character B (who has just killed his son) by surprise and gets a couple of hits. Character B gets a couple of hits in and- badly wounding Character A. Character A gets a flashback and then does one final ultimate attack, knocking Character B down and incapacitating him. Character A later dies of his wounds a few minutes later and a few more minutes later Character B recovers and is shown to be just fine, having no trouble fighting against other characters.

How would you scale this ? Who won ? Who is stronger ?

B is stronger. A's ultimate attack will scale to how strong B is, but A regularly scales below B
