Sans Tournament Round 4 Sans vs Discord

I couldn't help myself to find a way an at least try to do this fight

Assuming this actually works out. Welcome to Round 4 of my Sans vs tournament.

Speed is equal

Start 20 meters from each other

Sans is Bloodlusted

And that's all. Let's see if this goes or not. I predict it doesn't but who knows

Discord: 1

Sans:

Inconclusive/Draw: 7
 
Also pretty sure discord starts with powernull based on orevious threads I've seen him in, so Sans wouldn't be able to do anything
 
I don't know about that. He kinda starts with anything. Chances are Discord could probably underestimate sans, giving him to soul Jax him due to him being significantly weaker than Discord? But I feel as if Dis would counter to any attack he threw at him.
 
to be fair. That's like every discord win he has currentlybif he opens with that

I just did it with a Bloodlust only for Sans in hope it did something. Sort of like with PP vs Discord

Also Discord doesn't have a counter to Soul Manipulation I don't recall. He definitely hasn't resisted it. Which is where I saw Sans having a win condition since bloodlusted for him only
 
Nah. It's different. Hypothetically he'll begin with different abilities and might use soul hax more effectively.

So could this work then since Discord has no resistance? Cause it looks like Sans can win. Since I didn't put them at normal range (where discord's a literal planet away)
 
Again it's hypothetical. He still remained mellow throughout the battle and was taking it easy with Chara instead of desperately trying to win (excluding the end where he constantly smashes you around in the box). I think if he wanted to he could slam Discord into a pile of bones and hax him to death. But that depends what Discord has in mind.
 
I don't think sans could hurt discord enough to obliterate his soul before Discord just...snaps or transmutate the bones that Sans is throwing.
 
Depends, how does the durability negation work in Undertale, specifically with sans? I do know his soul hax/durability negation is far better than anyone else in the game.
 
His soul hax generally only works by him hitting you with bones or Gaster blasters. Him slamming you into a wall sorta does it but it's not nearly as bad as those other methods. Having a couple seconds of contact with those bones will kill you in like...7 or ten seconds.

My main problem is that Discord could probably just RW or transmutate anything Sans throws at him.
 
Well. He just has to catch Discord off guard. Who is pretty dang cocky at times. Even so much to stand in the way and let himself get hit by the elements. So it's to say not impossible. Sans could maybe pull it off if he is bloodlusted and Discord is casual
 
The 7 to 10 seconds is after Frisk' soul is level up to heck and back. For a normal, 20 HP soul a second would be enough to be destroyed (1 HP damage per second, 30 FPS game, normal souls have 20 HP).

While bloodlusted he could theoretically just teleport someone into the range of an attack, and not teleport them away just before they are hit like in-game. Discord could win any time, tough not sure if he would.


If he does get hit tough, I doubt he'd really realize his being killed before it's done.
 
Even when not bloodlusted Discord abuses his hax, or so I've heard. A snap is faster than Sans' lead attacks.
 
If we correlate that with the actual durability then it might be quicker for Discord. Because according to you Sans' soul hax in the actual game took 7 to 10 seconds, when he was pitched against a 2-B character, as opposed to here where he's pitched against a 4-B character.

So I guess sans does have an advantage with that. But again I don't see how Discord is out at a disadvantage.
 
Well, apparently he can be pretty cocky.


I feel like he's too random to just say what he starts with. I will be going with incon until I see something solid for a starting move tough.

I mean if discord acts way too casual than Sans may actually take this tbh.

No. He does 1 HP damage per frame, that's his whole deal. A 9-A or endgame Frisk are all going to take equal HP damage.

But no, genocide Frisk is not 2-B. They are unknown at best, Chara is 2-B.

And discord isn't at a disadvantage, but a guy can be armed with fifty guns (hax, in this case), he will still die to an enemy with one if he doesn't use them.
 
Well, true. I suppose his cockiness and arrogance is his disadvantage. But I wouldn't say he's too casual about it.
 
Yeah, people confuse Frisk with Chara. His soulhax ignores soul durability, but beyond that it is the weakest soul hax, with every monster doing more damage than him (which is why he is the weakest monster).
 
Yea no. Definitely not 2-B. That's highly overplayed. Sans fought frisk. Chats is an entirely different character that sans never fought or scale too
 
If Sans tries to hit him with Gaster Blasters it's likely Discord would just snap them away like he did with Sombra. Also, if I remember correctly, Sans's TK stops you from moving right? If he does that he could stop Discord from snapping, which would probably screw him over even more since if Discord realizes he can't move he'll have to think to use his powers and Sans dies immediately.
 
No, Sans' TK doesn't affect your movement, it's just extra gravity.

And he would probably teleport Discord to an attack while bloodlusted (which might startle him) and Butter said there was an instance where he let the elements hit him because why not.
 
It would be able to prevent discord from using flight. Which with a ground assault, bloodlust attack, and countering Flight. He may be able to take a win that way
 
That's a little out of context, he only let them hit him because he didn't think the Elements would work on him that time, since he let them get a free shot earlier and they didn't work because he wanted to show how he had defeated them. Either way, if Discord does literally anything to attack Sans he would one-shot him, and Sans's attacks aren't really instant death so he'd have time to do something. I feel like Discord can just barely edge this one out.
 
Yeah, but every clip of dicord I found is him mocking or talking while paying little to no care about attack thrown at him. Even with Sombra he just started monolouging.


If he acted like that here then after the first set of bones is transmutated he gets teleported and hit by the back before he gets to turn around and see bones coming at him.
