Shantae vs Nami

Well, both are comparable seeing that Shantae is above 5.4MT while Nami should be comparable or below 5.8MT.

Nami holds range, intelligence and stamina but Shantae holds versatility. How does her Attack Reflection and Absorption works?
 
  • Bubble: Shantae creates a shield that absorbs incoming projectiles for a limited time
  • Mirror: Shantae creates a shield that reflects incoming projectiles for a limited time

No, but it only takes a thought to return to her base form. Her transformations are mostly used for traversal anyway.
 
Can Nami hurt Shantae if she surrounds herself with pike balls or scimitars? She'll be damaged if she gets too close. Projectiles will also just be sent back. She can also fully restore her health with Super Revive Dance.
 
Nami doesn't rely on CQC unless her enemy gets close enough, but she still relies on creating illusions to gain distance and cast lightnings or use the Gust Sword. Would those be deflected?
 
It seems pretty vague even on her profile. Is there any footage we could watch to judge if she could or not deflect/absorb lightning or wind?
 
After making a new file to the game, I went to the Giga Mermaid boss (who specifically uses electricity) and tested it. Shantae is able to deflect/absorb electric attacks. Couldn't find an enemy in Shantae that uses wind. If it projectile based, it should logically reflect it as the game states that it's used to send back attacks.
 
Okay, Nami's lightnings are almost useless here.

The Gust Sword is a tornado that comes out of the Clima Tact. It's just that, a mini-tornado.
 
Well, she still has ways of avoiding it, such as flying to teleporting. I'm voting for Shantae. As of now, Nami doesn't have many ways to attack Shantae as if she gets to close, she gets stabbed by a scimitar. If she uses most ranged attacks, they'll get absorbed or deflected. Shantae can attack from far away with fire, lighting, or her explosion. If she gets too hurt, she can simply fully heal herself with Super Revive Dance (only takes a second at most) and eventually finish her.
 
Nami can reflect lightning as well, but fair enough. Shantae should take this for DOW's reasons.
 
BTW, since Zeus is currently considered with a far higher only, he shouldn't be restricted if OP wants this to get added.
 
Not likely since it's just a thundercloud. If Shantae absorbs/reflects, it's the same.
 
Probably not, since he uses lightning and Shantae can reflect it. But what Nami gain from Zeus is Flight advantage and Zeus is kind hard to be hit in the first place since he is legit a storm cloud and has no physical body
