Recently, I made a calc that got accepted for FTL mid to high tier unicorns. The question is: Who do we scale this to? Now clearly, all of the tier 4s scale to this. These are Unicorns of unknown ability aside from speed, and they definitely aren't top tier Unicorns.. I'm assuming we can scale this to characters like RD, Unicorn Twilight, or Sunset Shimmer and other mid tiers since Antvasima didn't object when I brought up their names.
In short, this thread is going to discuss whether or not the mid/high tier characters scale and if not, give them an entirely new speed rating. If they do not scale, then I have a calculation that puts anyone on par with RD at MHS+.
I'm also going to address a concern brought up: Has anyone reacted to magic beams without aim dodging? Yes. Starlight Glimmer and Twilight have moved out of the way of their attacks after they have been fired multiple times. Starlight even has a couple instances where she not only dodges after the projectile was fired, but even waited until it was close to her before side stepping. There are also instances in their fight where either Starlight or Twilight put up shields after the other fired their magic. Even when they later sparred with each other there was only one instance that could be considered aim dodging, and even then it's questionable. The other three instances involved putting up a magic shield after the projectile was fired (one of them was a magic explosion).
Princess Celestia also has a few instances of dodging Nightmare Moon's lasers after they were fired. Most of these occured at the beginning of the fight.
In short: Unicorns of comparable power and speed are perfectly able to percieve, shield, and dodge each others attacks without the need for aim dodging.
