Mario vs Goku

Base Frieza Saga Goku is used but he can use the Kaio Ken (only the original) while Mario is in base and gets no power-ups. Speed is equalized.


This match is a remake of this match. due to disagreement on if it was a stomp or not. It was clogging up the thread removal thread so it was suggest to do this instead.
 
To reiterate on the main points that make this a stomp.

  • Mario has Mid Regen
  • Mario has resurrection that works multiple times
  • Mario has a multitude of durability negating abilities
  • Even if Goku uses Kaioken, his AP advantage only becomes 1.6X compared to Mario
  • This version of Goku does not know Instant Transmission and can not BFR Mario. I repeat, BFR is not a win con for Goku.
So when you put all of these factors together, you get a match where Goku can't do any permanent damage to Mario, Mario doesn't stay dead even if Goku somehow managed to kill him, and Goku will only be able to win if Mario doesn't use any durability negating abilities even once after being killed several times.
 
Can't he reasonably carry items around for use?
 
So it would be fair if Mario has nothing

Isn't like he has stuff on him from the start of his adventures
 
It only says no power ups

It doesn't say he can't just use revive items

Anyways yeah, Goku really can't do anything to Mario's various methods of survival and inherent AP advantage, along with plenty of durability negation
 
Another thing to note here that adds to the stomp aspect of this, Mario would still win even without all the offensive hax.

Cuz, even if he sticks to just pummeling Goku but keeps his defensive stuff, he'd still win by war of attrition. Even discounting resurrection, Mario still has Mid regen and Healing. He'd outlast Goku on those alone. The resurrection just truly reduces Goku's chances to nil.

Then you consider the fact that Mario other stuff like Damage null, stat amp, stat reduction, shifting out of phase with the dimensions, attack reflection and the chances of Goku doing even lasting damage just less and less likely.

Finally you add on all the dura negating, 'GG, I win!' hax and...it's, well, overkill. Mario has the advantage almost every which way possible, his AP and Dura alone would keep him in the game and wins basically no matter what he chooses to do.
 
Mario does have one too many hax. Would allowing their original speeds equalize the playing field?

I still don't see why speed equalized is a thing here. The most important factor in a fight in actual reality and most of fiction gets negated in one too many fights here.

Goku as of Freeza Saga is only MFTL in base and varying degrees of MFTL+ with Kaioken.

Mario apparently scales to 820,511,887,000,306c.

So you tell me.
 
@Akreious damn that's a stupid difference.

I don't really memorize the exact speeds of most characters, just general estimates. And the simple MFTL tags don't really help out on profiles.
 
I've said it before but it bears repeating: this matchup isn't really about who wins between Mario and Goku. It's about how bad Mario spanks Goku.
 
Okay, I've waited a few days and no arguments for it not being a stomp has come up. I'll be taking this back to the thread removal page.
