I'm giving this one to Shadow.

The AP advantage Deoxys has is negligible and Shadow could completely negate it if he takes off his inhibitor rings. Shadow can spam teleportation to make it difficult for Deoxys to hit him, time stop is also a big advantage Shadow has here and he can target the weak point on Deoxys's chest which leaves his brain exposed, so destroying that would kill him.

What is the AP of the two of them? Shadow very rarely takes his inhibitor rings off, and really only does so when he's outclassed, which he won't be here. Not to mention Deoxy can do the smae thing with Attack Form. Deoxys also has teleportation, and it doesn't require a Chaos Emerald. Shadow doesn't know about Deoxys weakpoint, and even if he did, it's not a huge weakness. Even when Mewtwo knew the weakness, it barely managed to win. I vote Deoxys, as it can dramatically increase it's attack, defense and speed on the fly, giving it a large advantage. It also has better stat amps on top of that, along with stat reduction and paralysis. If need be, it can use Taunt and start using Counter and Mirror Coat to hit Shadow hard. It can also avoid Shadow's attacks with precog, and even if Shadow does do some damage, Deoxys has High-Mid regen.

Deoxys probaly scales to 420 Zettatons, while Shadow is unquantifiable above 614 Zettatons, and Shadow doesn't need a emerald to use Chaos Control

Where's the 420 Zettaton feat? It's not on their profiles. Shadow isn't above 614 Zettatons, he scales directly to it.

Between regen and resistance to blunt damage on a cellular level, Shadow can't do any meaningful damage. With precog, Taunt and Snatch shut off Chaos Control, and all applications of it at that, the latter outright turning it against him. With duplication and illusion, Shadow gets overwhelmed. Pressure makes Shadow tire out twice as quick, and that's passive. The brain is a "weak point" per se but it's more durable than Deoxys himself. There's also the likelihood of Deoxys just possessing Shadow, and Deoxys can fire space warping beams, which ignore durability by nature.

Shadow gets hard countered here. Seriously, the dude's limited to like, just Chaos Spear with how Deoxys works.

Small correction.

1 Chaos Emerald can do a 614 Zettaton feat, and Sonic defeated Chaos 4 (he absorbed 4 Emeralds). The Emeralds offer an exponential increase rather than a linear one, which means they're above it to an unknown degree. That, and with Sonic constantly being said to train and grow stronger throughout the series (it happens more than you think), they're even above that as of now since a lot of that happens Post-Adventure Era after they fought Chaos.

Shadow actually has genes stated to be altered so he never tires. It's part of the Sonic CRT.

Shadow resists Ifrit's passive possession, I'm pretty sure that's on the profile.

@Sptflcrw Shadow does not need a Chaos Emerald to teleport. The brain on Deoxys's chest is a large purple spot, Shadow can easily notice it. Shadow is above 614 zettatons, he's directly stronger than the output of one Chaos Emerald and he scales to Sonic who defeated Chaos after he absorbed up to four Emeralds.

@Cal Tiring Shadow out? Well there is the CRT that adds limitless stamina. Shadow also resists possession.

Btw I'm heavily against scaling the characters to the power of 4 CEs in base given they find one Emerald to be a massive threat, like the Adv 3 machine.

We don't know how much stronger 4 Emeralds is than one, and that doesn't change the fact that Sonic beat Chaos when he absorbed up to 4 of them.

Plus why wouldn't they find one Chaos Emerald to be a massive threat when it can split the planet and has limitless energy?

Massive threats due to actually destroying the planet. The cast could be 3-B and it'd still be seen as a massive threat.
Yeah that's like saying DBS isn't universal because they still consider planet busting to be a big deal.

It's a large purple spot, so what? Doesn't mean Shadow will realize it's a weak point.

Contradicted by the fact that Shadow has tired before. See when he almost died. Doesn't change my reasoning though.

Also 4CE level cast implies that Eggman's robots are stronger than his superweapons powered by the CEs. It's circular reasoning.

Has Shadow ever been in a battle where he had to target a weak point? Iirc, Chaos was before he was introduced and he wasn't in Unleashed.

@Cal Inexperience of Super Form lead him to not being able to sustain the transformation. Nothing with stamina.
Nope. If Shadow has infinite stamina in base and Super forms are supposed to be a boon to all stats, that argument doesn't hold up at all.
