Berserk Upgrades: Gut's and Nosferatu Zodd

First up is Nosferatu Zodd, Rickert has stated that Skull Knight and Zodd were able to fight on equal footing (however it appears Skull Knight bested him in the end). Seeing as Skull Knight has stomped indirectly stomped Ganishka's Shiva form yet Zodd was still able to give him a run for his money shows that they should scale from one another.

Guts was able to match Nosferatu Zodd in combat and also managed to cut of his horn too without the use of Berserker armor,

UPDATE

This feat has came to my attention, it showcases Guts being able to utilise Dragonslayer as a means for it take lightning instead of himself. You may be curious as to what this feat could mean but please look at a previous panel this one in particular. It proves that Guts had to of stood up and stab Dragonslayer onto the ground whilst the lightning was travelling towards him. Just to make it more solid Guts could of only performed the feat here which still shows Guts being on the ground with lightning heading clearly towards him.

Guts has been calced to have combat/reaction speeds of Mach 127

I propose Guts and Zodd to have the following stats

Tier: Low 7-B (8-B possibly Low 7-B for Guts)

Speed: Massivley Hypersonic combat and reaction speeds

The upgrade does make sense, but has Guts ever been able to actually seriously harm Zodd? The minor boost in AP makes sense, but if Guts really hasn't done anything to Zodd, maybe possibly 7-C would be more reasonable?

Seeing as Guts was able to do this to Zodd I have little doubt that he could cleave his head clean of his shoulders.

Ok, about the update part:

Usual 3 points to talk about.

a) was that real lightning?

b) what was the distance from the source here?

c) how much distance did he move?

Yeah, I would say the lightning being shot at him is real. Guts even uses his knowledge of lightning (that it strikes the highest points) and applies it towards the feat. And that the guy who shoots lightning is a cloud/mist like entity within itself.

Seeing as Gut's was crouching I decided to half his height in the pixel scaling thing ma bob, Guts himself appears as 56 pixels and Ganishka (lightning dude) is like 220 pixels from halving Gut's height (1.9meters) we should have a distance of 3.8 meters from where Guts is to where the lightning (which shoots at him) is located.

Seeing as Guts only movement was standing and picking a sword up I am not very sure if this would apply to movement. But nontheless he probably moved a total of 1 meter (if we account standing up and stabbing a sword into the ground as some added movement)

If we use the lightning equation here we should have like 4.4^5/3.8= 115789m/s which is like mach 338.

However I am not entirely sure if I should use this, as there is no given timeframe and Guts manages to stand up, and place his weapon down even as the lightning travels towards him. Seems more like Reactions/Combat based rather than moving into a location etc. It's your call really.

Guts is pretty clearly below Skull Knight. Zodd, too. I don't agree with that scaling.
Guts has been able to tango with Zodd on an even scale, he also managed to cut the guys horn off (check link in the op). I believe they should scale with one another.

Alakabamm said:
Oh no, he scales to Zodd. It's just that neither scale to Skull Knight.
Yeah, I had a similar conversation with TLT, despite Rickert saying that both managed to fight somewhat evenly I guess SK was treating Zodd as a jobber or something.

The interesting part is where Guts stands up and stabs Dragonslayer into the ground whilst Ganishka shot lightning at him.

I don't like the lightning scaling though...Ganishka is wayyyy bigger than that. What you see is a view of him the background so the scaling is wonky. You can, however, take that picture of the lightning in motion and angsize using Guts. That would give us the minimum distance the lightning need to have traveled.

Should I use Serpico instead? Also I am inexperienced with angsizing, If you have a calc/tutorial which I can look at for a bit that would be nice.

You're not.
Yeah definately seemed that way when I was going through with it, would you mind taking this up for me? I am utterly clueless with angsizing and the guide is fairly vague too ):

I think just getting a speed for the lightning is good, it should scale to Guts's combat/reaction speeds

Alakabamm said:
You sure? I can, it's just that I am pretty busy and don't know when I will finish it

Well, it would offer me expierence on how to angsize which is enough reason for me to calc it. Thanks for the offer anyways.

You angsize the distance between the camera and Serpico, which you just did

Then you angsize the distance between the camera and Guts

Then you subtract the larger one from the smaller one

Ahh gotcha, cheers.

Its still wrong.

I don't know what size you used for Guts in the angsize calculator.

I don't know what "overall distance" means but you don't add them together.

Alakabamm said:
OK, it is fine now.
Ah nice, I have a good grip on how to angsize now. Thanks for your assistance.

I guess it's best to wait for further input on wether or not this calc should be applied strictly to combat/reaction speed.

Alakabamm said:
It is multiple movements chained together so it is combat speed IMO

Yeah I would say the same thing too, should this be added onto his profile now? Or shall I await more input?

You should probably put pictures of the scaling and such on the blog so we can see your pixel counting

Another thing that should be added is Dragonslayer's ability to attack someones astral/spiritual body (essentially the soul), ignoring conventional durability. As stated here
