It was a fairly beautiful day outside. Discord was walking on the water as he heard something heading his way. "Oooh, I wonder who that'd be?" Before he could finish, a giant boat hit him, knocking him down into the sea.

Discord then got up, the ocean making some sort of a tornado as he looked to see Popeye, sailing there. "Agagaga-WOAH, WHAT ARE YA!?" He looked at Discord. "Fairly mad, that's what." Popeye just ate a can of spinach. "And what'll ye do t' me, eh?"

"Try me, sailor."

Both are in-character.

4-C vs High 4-C.

Battle is in an ocean.

Both start a few feet away (say, 12 feet).

Win via KO, incap or BFR.

Discord could take this with his transmutation, teleportation, banishment to another dimension, immortality, and higher intelligence. Popeye's physically stronger, more experienced, and has resistance to mind control, but he doesn't really have much to counter Discord's powers.
 
Well Discord leads with Power Null iirc so he just teleports the spinach out of Popeye's body and GG. Though Discord likely takes this just due to versatility. Voting Discord.
 
Popeye can shape shift, travel dimensions, regenerate from literally NOTHING, And create spinach with the wave of his hand. This poll was done to quickly. This was one sided and misjudged
 
Popeye takes it for regenerating from nothing which was backed up on two occasions, shape shifting himself which would counter transmutation, Fighting intangible beings, resistance to mind control, and surviving bfr when his show literally collapsed and the film tore.

Oh i thought i mentioned that. I knew it was already over. But seriously i think it was way too one sided. That's the problem with these threads. Sometimes you only get people routing for one of the characters. This wasn't a real debate and I still think Popeye stoood a chance.
