How the Heck Did They Survive? (Minions vs Velociraptor)

I dunno how minions managed to survive, but considering T. Rex appeared around 68 million years ago and velociraptors have been around until the mass extinction event 65 or 66 million years ago, it's likely minions had to have fought off something in order to survive and live into the modern period. That aside, here are the terms.

1. Minions are allowed weapons (I doubt they would've survived otherwise), whatever the heck they would've made use of back then.

2. Both sides are bloodlusted.

3. Speed is equalized.

That aside, here are the profiles.:

Will minions realistically be able to take on the Wiki's weakest dinosaur, or is their survivability a load of horsecrap?

Small problem, Minions are significantly smaller than the average human, in fact their official average height is listed as 105 cm (1.05 meters). They're still in the 10kJs in terms of durability (since adjusting the mass is a linear thing); just not as far into it since a 1-meter-tall creature is significantly smaller than a 1.75-meter-tall man.

Given an average 5-year-old kid weighs 19 kg, a Minion at a similar size (2 SD lighter to same weight as a 5-yr boy) should weigh around 13.86 kg to 15 kg. Falling at a terminal velocity of 53 m/s still takes 19466.37 J to 26685.5 J of energy.

Otherwise our arguments stand.
