(GRACE!!!!)Frieza (1st form) VS Ultimate Echo Echo

The AP's are around 4.259*10^38 J for Echo vs 7.306*10^39 J for Frieza. Echo will have some trouble without Durability Negation.

I'm pretty sure Ultimate Echo Echo could put down Frieza with a Sonic doom. This isn't UEE's first time fighting a character that not only has superior AP but superior hax as well. Plus Ben himself can work his way around stronger opponents and find some kind of opening. UEE also has disks that can clone themselves and keep Frieza surrounded at all times and at a distance while constantly earraping Frieza.

My vote Ultimate Echo Echo.

Frieza has superior AP, superior durability and likely superior endurance/stamina. He also has superior intelligence.

I'm pretty sure Frieza wins this due to Kiai, Telekinesis and Death Beams. In-character Frieza would go for the kill instantly if he judges his opponent to not be worth his time or a pest. It's possible that he could choose to torture Echo Echo but this would only happen if Echo Echo can seriously offend Frieza (by hurting him or annoying him).

It seems electricity is a weakness of Echo Echo as well. While Frieza rarely utilizes electricity manipulation it's certainly worth noting that many DB characters can produce electricity with raw power output.

I also must ask if it's possible that Frieza could use a barrier to block Echo Echo's attacks...probably not but it's at least worth mentioning.

Dragon Ball barriers don't stop sound; they talk to each other from within barriers all the time.

That said, Echo Echo isn't going to go for Sonic Doom off the bat, while Freeza will certainly go for the kill, first thing, here. Unlike on Namek, he has no previous connection to his opponent, here; this isn't a familiar unruly warrior-prince of a dead race attempting to defy him in the shadow of his own capitol ship and steal his chance at immortality, this is just a weird metal guy who can scream a lot. Freeza might get annoyed, sure, but think of it like this--Freeza normally enjoys the screams of his victims. I believe canonically he's compared it to music. If he starts torturing Echo Echo, those screams are going to hurt. In-character, he's out to murder this thing as soon as possible, the second it unleashes one of those awful screeches.

"Dragon Ball barriers don't stop sound; they talk to each other from within barriers all the time."

While scientifically true, this doesn't really work with Toriyama's work. Beerus and Whis are shown flat out talking to eachother in the vacuum of space despite that not being physically... possible. This also happens many times in other shonen shows; does that mean any sound attack would be able to completely bypass all their defenses?

And even if we go by purely scientific facts, the Ki Barrier not blocking sound doesn't make that much sense either. Sound is literally just vibrations going through the air that our ears interpret. Fundementally it's no different from say, a bullet.

So the characters talking to eachother through their barriers isn't evidence to say that their barriers don't block sound since Toriyama does not care for science at all.

Kiai is literally using Ki to bend air currents so...I don't see why Frieza couldn't just screw up Echo Echo's sound manipulation by distorting the air. If Frieza blew up the planet would Echo Echo even be able to use his sound abilities in space?

If Echo Echo managed to force Frieza into one of his attacks, trapping him in, Frieza would absolutely destroy the planet to escape.

"If Echo Echo managed to force Frieza into one of his attacks, trapping him in, Frieza would absolutely destroy the planet to escape."

Emphasizing this part. Literally the only reason why Freeza didn't blow up Namek on the spot when he could've was because he wanted to get immortality from the Dragon Balls. When that mission failed, he immediately went for the planet bust.

Later as Mecha Freeza, King Cold said Earth was a small planet and that they could've blown it up then and there but Freeza said he wanted to enjoy and savour the deaths of Goku's friends as well as the look on Goku's face when he sees it all.

Freeza has no such incentives here; he has no grudge against Echo Echo nor any of their associates and would immediately go for the planet bust should Echo Echo piss him off. Which is quite easy to do.

...I mean, they also use telepathy and such, so it's not hard to see how they talk in space, but that's besides the point. I'll concede the point about the ki barriers; regardless, my vote is for Freeza anyway. Itchy planet-busting trigger finger > annoying screech.

Yeah, I'm voting for Frieza. I don't think this is a stomp PERSAY, considering Echo Echo does have some win conditions that I could consider but Frieza has a pretty huge advantage in terms of IC reaction, physiology and abilities.

Yeah, UEE has good chances, but in-character Freeza would just kill him right off the bat so he takes this FRA.
