Giving him a profile is a bit too controversial but I'm curious. If we were to give him a tier, where would he be?

Pretty sure the bible makes it as obvious as possible that he's supposed to be omnipotent, exept the part where he cannot lie and other minor restrictions.

But the whole nlf thing would limit him to a low 2-C.

With statements he would be tier 0. With what is shown, low 2-C. Im not sure what his speed would be tho. And what hax does he have as a low 2-C?

Well, yeah.

I can already imagine how someone who I shall not mention putting him against every single DB tier 2, exepting it to be fair the fiftieth time.

Pretty sure even with statements he is nowhere near tier 0, though I am fairly certain he has a 2-C feat. Also if you guys are talking about the Biblical God then his hax is pretty average to be honest.

For speed I don't think he has much feats but from statements from Jesus should make him omnipresent.

Well creating a universe doesn't really give you omnipresence, I would argue the statements from Jesus when he is talking about how you don't need to go to church to worship him that God is under every rock, every tree branch etc, etc.

Intelligence im guessing would be nigh omnicient to omniscient

Stamina would be limitless?

Range Low 2-C

Im guessing lifting strength is low 2-C as well

About intelligence is tricky because people have "deceived" and lied to him multiple times, but we don't know if that was all part of his grand design or not.

Pretty sure it was supposed to be the "I knmow what ya doin', but I won't stop you" kind of deal. And instances where he was geninly outsmarted are PIS.

What would his whole "my true form blows people's mind" be counted as?

Hmmm.

I wonder if something like Yahweh will ever be allowed on this wiki.

Probably someone will eventualy make fiction that recites the bible word for word.

How to raise controversy 101

And also, assuming you talk about the Hebrew deity, the Ancient Testament isn't the only religious text to be considered sacred in ancient Semitic culture.

And about actual Catholic/Cristian text, the Bible wasn't the only "canonical" one, but I believe what was considered "canon" changed over time.

That's true there's a lot of expanded lore on the Judaistic religion, but the lore community is still debating on what exactly is canon from the varios Hebrew texts since there's many contradicting information, which to be fair the Bible isn't a strager to either. Plus the many rewritings of the Bible and numerous translations ain't helping.

So is El Shaddai characters allowed here?

(El Shaddai is soemwhat based on the Judaist religions.)

From what I have been told by people more knowledgeable about this topic than I am, he would be Low 2-C going by simply taking the bible literally, and 1-A or 0 if we go by the most advanced teological philosophy.

However, this thread may be too controversial for this wiki.

Yeah, this:

A lot of things present in the original Smitic lore weren't re-added in the Christian one(s), as they weren't in the Ancinet Testament. I believe that the Archangels were actually 7 originally, but now only 3 to 4 are accepted by the Church.

Not to mention the fact that "Chritianity" as a whole has muultiple interpretations, just look at the various sub-categories: Catholicism, Protestantism, Orthodoxism and so on.

And this isn't even counting Christian Phylosophies.

Asking out of ignorance here, but is the universe always referred as a single one and no mention of higher realms and such? What about heaven and hell, for example?

Heaven isn't really mentioned on how it works, but Hell is actually physically inside of the Earth. same with Purgatory.

Yeah tho it is kinda implied that Heaven is phisically in the universe just that we have no direct claims either way.

Dante Alighieri made some kind of "map" of what was believed to be the Universe at the time, and Heaven was basically within the universe and in its various the celestial bodies, but on a higher, metaphysical plane of existence. Don't know if this is ever implied in the original text though.

Anyways, I'm just waiting for an admin to pass by and to close this for obvious reasons.

I don't think we should consider Dante Alighieri's writing with the actual religion because there are way too dissimilarities.

And yes I do agree that this should be closed.

Just asking before closing this Can it be answered that whether El Shaddai verse and characters can be built here?

Why wouldn't it be? Myst is the entire history of the jews as well as their philosophy and religion repackaged as a puzzle game about aliens.

So in conclusion:

With feats he should be a well haxxed low 2-C

With statements he should be tier 0

Am I correct?
There's a difference between "Statements in the text" and "How philosophers over time interpret omnipotence".

With feats he's Low 2-C, with statements he's Low 2-C. I've heard that in other religions Yahweh himself is closer to 1-A (so you could say the Christian God is 1-A but not in Christianity), but you'd have to ask Zach about that.
