Sole survivor vs the Courier

I'm going to vote inconclusive for now. The Sole Survivor has more experience and better guns due to weapon bench upgrades and his military background, but the Couirer has better stealth options due to the stealth suit he got at big mountain. He's far smarter due to out smarting the Think Tank, and is a better speaker due to talking down Legate. Plus he managed to survive the divide which is a lot better than anything the Sole Survivor has ever done.
 
well courior 6 has beaten things that should be out of the sole survivers paygrade like the rhao in the devide the giant robo scorpion and the entirety of the divide

plus he has more weaponry some of which if far supirior to anything in F4 and is faster then sole survivor by far so my vote gose for 6
 
I completely forgot about the gaint robo scorpion. I guess while the Sole Survivor was in a war, the Courier post apocalypse experience is better and things like the divide would shred almost anyone else who entered. I'll switch my vote to the Courier due to his intelligence, stealth, and experience with far stranger and more dangerous things like the super death claw in blue mountain and the mutant death claw in the divide, along with making it through the divide itself.
 
To be fair to the some suvivor he does deal with mythic and chamelion death claws.

Also what does the Courior have that's better then the sole survivor?
 
He has the stealth suit along with a few other weapons from the blue mountain, but other than that I would say the Sole Survivor has better weapons. The chameleon death claw is no where close to rawr, but it's mainly the divide and the other dlc's themselves that are more insane and difficult than fallout 4's stuff. The divide was stated to be an absolute death trap to entire squads of soldiers (you even find the bodies of a heavily prepared squad that got slaughtered), yet the Courier made it through with only an eye bot (and the eye bot mostly just opened doors the whole time).

he has the red glare which is basicly a repid speed rocket launcher

he also has the esther fat man which is a heavly modifed fat man with a shild(not to mention a multitude of special nukes for it)

the light that shines in the darkness a handgun that can shred death claws in a few shots

the gobby sniper which has a high crit chance and 3x the crit dmg(one of the most powerful weapons in the game)

elijhas improve murv which is a better murv laser rifel that dose insane dmg

not to mention that 6s combat speed even without V.A.T.S is transonic while the sole surviver is only super human
 
I think Sole survivor's combat speed was suppose to be upped to transonic. It just never got done.

Though wouldn't The courier's anti material rifle beat most sniper's the Sole survivor has?.
 
Since the Sole Survivor for some reason doesn't have an anti material rifle, yeah that and few special snipers would be better than most snipers the Sole Survivor can get.

Also yes, his speed should probably be upgraded. (A few death claws were also supposed to be upgraded to 8-B (I think), but that doesn't really matter right now)

well dose the sole surviver actually have any transonic feats cuse you know 6 can run at 1/2 of the speed of a sound wave but what feats dose the sole surviver have that put him on that scale
 
I'm gonna vote Courier 6 for the rather insane shit he faced in the Divide. Those tunnelers can literally tear Deathclaws apart in seconds.
 
The Deathclaw we see die to a Tunneler was a fodder one compared to the ones outside, and they are much easier to take down. In fact the Courier can oneshot him no matter what.

Also, why do people say the Anti-Materiel Rifle would be a huge difference? It's not that good of a weapon tbh.

cinimatic reason my guy there would be no reason for that deathclaw to be any weaker in world lore then the once outside

well i myself don't think that the anti mater rfile would be the difference maker here but it is versitile enough to couse some real issue for sole surviver with its armor piereing rounds which can punch streight through power armor, explosive round which would cause seriuse damage to sole suriver as well as many other types of ammo that have their own effects, this gun is quite versitle and would cause quite a bit of issue.

but the real difference makers here are the euclid's c-finder, red glare and ester

each one of these guns could lead to sole survivers untimely demise if use in the right moment

euclid's c-finder is self explenetory its an orbital strike with a huge area of effect that deals more damage then a mini nuke if the courier manages to hit sole surivor with it its game over for him

red glare its a rapid fire missle launcher which can dish out incormause amounts of damage in a short span of time to put it in simple word its a roket minigun which would give the courier a quick way to rain hell down of the sole surviver

ester is a modifed fat man that increases the physical defence of the courier to an extent where he can withstand being near a mini nuke blast when it gose off, plus its a fat man with higher damage and if we include the veriuse versions of the mini nuke ammo we get in new vegas it make the advantages of ester even greater then before

so to put it simply the courier has the versitility edge when it comes to extremely powerful weaponry

not canon if it was well it would be in his profile

also multi city block level? Since when?

the best calc we have of it would put it at best puts it at 48 tons or less then half the requirements for multi city block level
 
I think he's thinking of Doomslayer's AP rating. That's for his physical strength which far exceeds all of his weapons.
 
Also we have to consider that the Sole Survivor has a LOT more Perks, so even if the Courier DID have better weapons, they would do a lot less to the Sole Survivor than his weapons would do to the Courier.

Also his higher Power Armors would leave the Sole Survivor untouchable.

honestly nates just more viersital with the jet pack attachment for the power armor
 
The Courier has much better social influencing so he could just tell the SS to leave. Also even without that he has the stealth suit from big mountain so the SS can't even find them, is vastly smarter as he could out smart the entire think tank, has more experience post wasteland as he survived the divide and his other dlcs which were much more dangerous than fallout 4's. Plus you're ignoring the courier's special weapons like the orbital canon which would one shot.

Finally the courier has his implants that increased his Regenerationn and prescriptions along with other attributes. The courier also has much better ranged options due to his snipers generally doing more damage, having slightly farther range, and different ammunition he can load into it.

The Lonesome Road is often wanked as to how deadly it is. The worst the Courier had to deal with was the later Deathclaws, and all he had to do was get to the other side, rather than actually live in the place, which is what most of the deadly statements refer to.

The Euclid's C-Finder takes a full 5 seconds to fire the laser, which the Sole Survivor could escape from in time even if he had both his legs crippled.

The Sole Survivor isn't exactly known for his Sniper Rifles.

Agreed not to mention ash maker the fire will either A scar him heavily inparing him or B distract him making him miss both of his shots with C-finder
 
How far is the range on the ash maker because the C-finder's range his dozens of meters at least. Also he is know for the gobi sniper rifle ,anti material rifle, and the other special rifles in new Vegas, but those two are the most notable ones.

The Think tank being psychotic had nothing to do with anything, sometimes it made it a bit harder to trick them, not easier. You also outsmarted your own brain when it was dumped in a vat full of intelligence increasing drugs while the Sole Survivor hasn't outsmarted anyone nearly as smart.

The Courier also still has the social influencing to convince the Sole Survivor to leave due to the Terrifying Presence perk and being able to convince Caesar's right hand man to walk away (that was the same guy that crushed someone head in with his bare hands for kicks).

It's not just the lonesome rode. It's also dead money, honest hearts, and the think tank that all combine together to be vastly more dangerous than anything the Sole Survivor has been through. Has the Sole Survivor had to go through a bank heist while every room can blow his head off, with radiation everywhere, while also keeping three other people alive, and then have to kill those people without exploding because if they died the Courier died too.

The C-Finder is not the Courier's only one shot option. Esther can also one shot and the red glare kills the Sole Survivor extremely quickly. And while the Sole Survivor has some pretty good weapons he first would have to find the courier since one of the only armors he used in canon was the stealth suit. So the chances of the Courier starting almost invisible are really high
