Just because the 7-A tournament is over doesn't mean I can't use Nono in a fight. Why not have a Kill la Kill vs. Dragon Ball fight? So Nonon vs. Yamcha. Speed is equalized, and the fight takes place in the parking lot of a super market because for some reason they both started arguing and then it went to fighting. Nonon is in her second key unless it's deemed a bit unfair then we'll move it to third key.

Lets see how this goes.

I'm assuming Yamcha is fairly close to baseline since he seems to be scaled upwards from the City+ level feat. So Nonon should hold a decent AP advantage.

Largest issue is that Yamcha can fly, and is a much better melee fighter. Meaning he'll have to get in range. Flight + ki blasts really help with that. And I can see them flying around, spamming long ranged attacks, and not really doing much.

However, Nonon's second form has a blind spot. And Yamcha should be able to charge up a Kamehameha with much more strength than his usual AP that he can use to blast through the projectiles.

Right now, it seems close to incon, but I'm leaning towards Yamcha for this reason alone (Unless he knows Solar flare or something).

Oh, I didn't expect this to get traction. Where's the blind spot on that form? I don't remember people talking much about that.

Her goku uniform is a big thing on her back, so she has no real peripheral vision and no way of tracking things behind her.

I mean, rule on threads is, I scratch your back your scratch mine, lol. Plus some of these matches are fairly interesting. Lets me see new characters that I might use in matches.

Which matches now? Just curious.

Also Nonon could just go into Regalia de Capo, as that doesn't have a huge blind spot and is actually just her and a massive laser subwoofer hat thing. Nothing stops her from going into that if her original airship form gets destroyed. Then she can just blast Yamaha around when he gets close. Heck destroying her airship might be Yamcha's downfall.

He might think she's weaker without it and then come in for an attack, only to get blast the heck back and forced to go the ranged game again.

I have one match up involving Brago and Sherry Belmont. I have a bunch of matches involving Assefa Berber as well that haven't had any votes for a long while, lol.

That's fair. I wasn't thinking about it. It helps that Yamcha isn't the brightest. I guess that would make it close to inconclusive. Minus her missiles, I believe Yamcha's ki blasts should have larger AoE than many of Nonon's sound attacks. And him being able to actually charge his attacks to make them stronger actually makes a difference here. As it gives him a way to power through her danmaku.

Though with Regalia de Capo, I suppose this is closer to inconclusive. I don't think either of them have the capacity to land enough hits to really do anything. I don't see either of them landing much of anything.

So you'd vote for inconclusive, then?

I'd make an argument for stamina but both have pretty high stamina and odds are they're both going to be dodging a lot of attacks, and if Yamcha charges up to attack through the danmaku, odds are he's get hit a lot beforehand...

huh it's more interesting then I even thought.

Also I might check out some of those fights then.

Nonon has never been established as having a blind spot in her Mk 2 uniform, only Mk 1

Yeah I sorta thought that but it's been a while since I watched the fight, so I wasn't confident

Maybe. But Nonon's danmaku has been consistently dodged before, so I'm sure Yamcha can do it. Especially if he charges it and runs away, forcing Nonon to follow him.

Only mk1? Okay. I thought both had those big sound producing things behind her. Just that the mk2 version was smaller but still much larger than her back.

Either Yamcha stops being useless and wins or he helplessly cowers in fear of the Danmaku spam.

I'm going to have to review Yamcha's tactical skills and strategic feats (What little there is at least) to vote.

Isn't borderline like 100 megatons though? That's what it says on the AP thing unless I'm wrong..

So like I dunno I feel like Yamcha should be able to hurt Nonon, it's just gonna take a lot of energy. It's possible to win for him still

I mean maybe. I'm not sure.

I'm still sticking to incon, as both of them are difficult targets to hit regardless.

Taking a 129 megaton attack without damage doesn't mean that Yamcha can't harm Nonon. The durability needed to no-sell an attack varies drastically from verse to verse, and can even vary quite a bit in-verse.

Ima wait for this before voting

Also just gotta day if this ends in inconclusive then uh, it would definitely not be the outcome I was expecting

"A martial artist with 1 decade (He trained himself when he was a bandit) of self-training and at least 6 years training under the best martial artist of the world and the teacher of the best martial artist of the world"

That's Yamcha's skill level, which seems to be far above Nonon's. This, plus his range advantage, gives Yamcha a pretty big edge. AP's still a big issue though, so I'm still not sure

I mean I'll admit incon is kinda cheap on occasion but it gets matched over with and I wanna get this match over with before I forget it.

3 for incon for now
