Falco Lombardi is in trouble. A strange vortex that appeared during a routine flight has sucked him away from the rest of his crew, and the Lylat system in general. And finding the entire mainframe in his Arwing was shot, he was forced to make a crash landing on a nearby planet. He luckily managed to steer his ship into some kind of marsh, where he the entire ship was left half buried, but he managed to survive unharmed.

Upon exiting the vehicle to look at the damage to his potentially only way back to the Lylat system, he heard the cocking of a pistol behind him, and a voice telling him to raise his hands above his head. This individual was Leon Kennedy, during his mission to rescue the president's daughter from a group of radicals, who had been alerted to something breaking through Earth's atmosphere and landing somewhere nearby. Believing it may be an enemy satellite, and fearing what would happen if it were to fall in enemy hands, he was ordered to make a detour to investigate the crash site, where he happened upon Falco and his Arwing.

Suddenly, Falco dove to the side and narrowly dodged the bullet that was aimed for his head. Pulling out his own laser pistol as Leon took shelter behind a nearby rock formation, they both primed their weapons to ready for the next shot, whoever was willing to take it.

In the blue corner, we have Falco Lombardi from Star Fox, and in the red corner, we have Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil.

Falco Lombardi Ultimate
Leonr4
-This is a battle to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any prep time.

-This fight takes place in the wetlands outside of The Village from Resident Evil 4, though, this doesn't really give either character an edge in this situation.

-Leon is allowed access to his heavier weapons and explosives, to allow him to break through Falco's Building level durability.

-Speed will not be equalized in this fight.

I'm gonna go with Falco due to the far superior range and mobility in his shit. I dont think Leon can get off many solid hits in a plane. Thus, I vote Falco

I mean, I'll count the vote. But, it sounds like you're saying they're in a dogfight or something. They are on the ground, and Falco's Arwing is out of commission.

I'd personally go with Leon due to what's likely more skilled ground combat and the fact that Falco's arrogance could likely get the best of him.

Also has Falco ever actually fought on the ground?

After a little bit of research, he does indeed show that he has experience fighting on the ground from Star Fox: Assault, as he's one of the characters you can play as in the Multiplayer feature of the game, which features on-foot confrontations.

Ah, okay, but...even then I doubt it's to the same amount of experience that Leon Kennedy has gone through...I still think he takes it here.
