Questions About Buzz's Durability

So, DMUA pointed out to me that Buzz Lightyear has City Block level Durability on his profile, and apparently, according to the description, this is because he "Casually survived an explosion that covered an entire empty field." Now, I wouldn't likely argue with this...except that this apparent explosion, which a gif is found for it in the respect thread here, seems to show Buzz near the edge of the explosion radius, which does not really justify a durability at that level if he was only on the edge. If he was right near the center, that'd be different, but as I just said, he was nearly outside of the explosion range.

All I'm asking is for someone to please calc this explosion and see where he falls here. Because, from what I see here, he might be in for a downgrade.
 
I'm pretty sure it was scaling to the Toy Story 2 explosion

If that's seriously the City Block feat though, I'm infinite levels of depressed
 
Iirc his evil clone once survived a much bigger explosion and Buzz's partners said that only Buzz could survive an explosion like that. Or maybe he hid, I don't remember.
 
I mean, I suppose this is a thing, too. But, I'm not entirely sure how big this ship is without looking a little more into it.

Yeah, Buzz's profile is a bit of a mess, but it's been so long since I seen the show and don't remember much of it. But yeah, we should actually calc these feats instead of just using random assumptions.
 
I contacted Dark about it. Hopefully he can give us a good calc for it.
 
Yeah, survivng an explosion from that distance isn't really all that impressive, since he wasn't even caught in the explosion itself, but the airblast.

Without scalable dimensions of the ship, I can't do much. Anyone got a shot I can scale it from?
 
I'll try to look. For now, though, do you think there's anything in that respect thread that's actually usable for durability?

Anyway, yeah, since Buzz was smack dab in the middle of that explosion, it could work. And it might be the only thing we have to work with atm, since the Disney and BLOSC wikis proved empty on any reference to that ship.
 
Why don't we just scale Buzz to Sora and be done with it.

I'll look through the thread when I have more time.
 
I mean, I'm sure Buzz's speed feats are more legitimate, and that his striking strength is heavily downplayed. But I'm unsure about 8-B. Pretty sure he should at least be 9-A though.
 
Yeah. Haven't forgotten about this. Has any progress on the calculation for the Zurgbot army explosion been made?
