That's not how it works. Unless darkrai has conceptual level sleep manipulation, it wouldn't affect a type 1 abstract

Type 1 Abstract existence and Type 3 NE kind of say a gigantic "No U" to Darkrai: a far as O'm aware, Darkrai hs only ever interacte with the avatars of the Creation Trio (and Cresselia, I think), which are type 3 Abstracts, and the only one being Non-Corporeal being Giratina.

Even Darkrai could put the CT to sleep he can't effect anything above a type 3 concept.

...I find it funny how since darkrai is the only pokemon got tiers to be "at least 2-C likely 2-B" rather than solid 2-B he gets put in a bunch of 2-C matches

He could be 2-A and still lose. AP doesn't matter here.
