Reyn is out in Gaur Plains fighting monsters by himself after having a small argument with Shulk. Suddenly, as he's about to finish off the really big monster he was fighting, a blonde haired girl comes in and smashed the monster's head in, finishing it off. Annoyed at the girl for taking his kill, Reyn calls her out for a fight, to which the mysterious girl happily obliges, seeming a bit ticked herself.

Okay, not the best opening to one of these, but, whatever...

In the blue corner, we have Rey from Xenoblade Chronicles, and in the red corner, we have Yang Xiao Long from RWBY.

Reyn
Yang (Volume 1-3)
-This is a battle to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any outside help.

-This battle takes place in the middle of Gaur Plain, giving Reyn the home-court advantage.

-Reyn is at Mid-Game levels of strength, and Yang is from Volume 4-5.

-Speed is equalized.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

Yang: 0

Reyn: 1 (Theglassman12)

Inconclusive: 0

Well this will be interesting to say the least. Reyn already has a good AP advantage against Yang here. He has a very versatile set of abilities here thanks to his ether gems and numerous different tactics to deal with yang, whether it's complete offensive or defensive to tank anything in his way. And if push comes to shove. He can use last stand to regenerate a good chunk of his health should he hit critical condition. Top that off with beingr resistant to fire, he would take this rather easily.

Thing is Reyn doesnt have enough AP to oneshot so he'd just be making her stronger with each hit.

He also doesnt resist shockwaves or projectile debris, nor does he resist energy attacks, all of which Yang uses as projectiles

He's far greater than 4 tons of TNT.

So what, Yang doesn't resist any of the status effects, and any and all times she's gonna try to hit Reyn she's gonna take damage back thanks to spike.

Maybe, though it seems more decisive since she can do something here rather than not being able to do anything.

I said that she doesn't resist them, I never said that semblance won't work.

Except is she's stunned or asleep or any of the status effects he can use her semblance becomes useless and hitting harder wont help when he's reflecting the damage back onto her

He's able to deal damage back. It's not full blown attack reflection where he reflects the attack back.

Reyn doesn't have sleep as an ability, it's a resistance.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Reyn stomps here; he can beat a Telethia, who casually stomps Xord, who is easily superior to multiple low level Mechon, who take zero damage from the 3.9 ton Artillery cannons.

So, should this thread be closed for stomp then?

Nah, Weiss was getting through that via hax. The main argument was freezing Shulk solid.

Weiss has no hax………….

Like at all

The only one is time dilation which won't do damage and Freezing which he breaks out

I do personally think both threads are stomps, but this one especially yes. I think I'll go ahead and close this.
