How potent is deflecting bad fortune? Because we've seen the Time Stone allow the user to see all possibilities and choose the one that works out. Right? That's sorta broken. Granted, I don't actively watch Jojos (though I really need to add it to my "weird shit to watch list"), but unless Funny just makes it impossible for bad things to happen to him, Thanos would win.
Time Stone also didn't seem to choose one timeline. It just showed the user the right one, and it took a while. That's why Thanos didn't see Thor coming in the first place.
Thanos does not need to kill him, just incap him for some time (24 hours). If there is a feasible way to achieve that, as in, getting past Funny's prob manip, he wins via incap. If Funny's prob manip makes it impossible for bad things to occur to him directly, then incon because he has no way of really dealing with Thanos.
Bad things cannot effect him, so long as they haven't hit High 3-A like Tusk Act 4. Funny also has the merger sponge and can redirect misfortune to Thanos, so saying he can't put him down isn't quite accurate.
Also, no, it doesn't seem like the stone allows one to choose one timeline, but it does seem to make the user's desired effects occur (we'll almost certainly see more on this in the next movie).
Misfortune won't kill the Titan, or at least I severely doubt it. Could be wrong, I guess.
So basically this guy is a 682 type scenario where he's got a "durability" of sorts, that cannot be normally bypassed and this is more of a meme fight kek.
If his power works like that, Thanos has no method of incapping and I'd say this borders on stomping.
Ok well I'm not entirely familar with Part 7, but Love Train is a really, really broken thing. Thanos with his gauntlet is also really, really broken. I'm personally going to lean on Inconclusive atm. Thanos tries things, it gets redirected onto him and he no sells it with his gauntlet.
Valentine could paradox Thanos but the likes of this occuring is very unlikely. It said on the wiki that Love Train moves misfortune to an infinite number of alternate universes too, not sure if it relates to this or not but probably worth a mention.
