Genious vs Loser, Pyrrha Nikos vs Ikki Kurogane

Okay so......

Are we doing speed equalized?

If Ikki is taking this seriously he will likely try to close the distance as soon as because he lacks any ranged attacks. Pyrrha seems to have more versatility. But Ikki is more experienced and knows more combat styles than she likely does so in a straight up battle he is more skilled.

The kicker for me is Pyrrha's semblance, could it affect Ikki's weapon? Pyrrha would likely try to be subtle about it but he will likely pick up on it instantly. Considering she can do it without even touching stuff it will likely be useful. Pyrrha's aura will also be useful in keeping her in the battle too.

But Ikki could be smart enough to work around this and rely on afterimage creation and precog to work round her guard. Leaning on Pyrrha atm due to semblance and versatility.

Equalizinh speed wouldn't help much due to speed amps.

The idea is that pyrrha could survive him long enough for his ability to stop working.

I also doubt her powers would work on his sword. tough its debatable

If its metal her semblance would work on it, her semblance works even on non-magnetic metals like aluminum

''Devices are weapons used by Blazers. They are the materialization of a Blazer's soul as a weapon to be used in battle''

From what im seeing by looking up him and his weapon the sword does appear to be metal, it being a soul materialization doesnt make it literally comprised of the actual soul

The semblance is a kicker here, if it can't work then Pyrrha loses has she cannot manipluate the battle as well she'd like because Ikki is way more skilled in a proper swordfight. If she can control it and keep him at a respectable distance she can use her ranged options and versatile weapon to whittle him down and use her aura to make up for if he tags her.

Gonna stay with Pyrrha then unless we can establish Ikki's sword is immune to it.

But it is. The damage it takes is even reflected to an extent, knocking out the user if destroyed.

It shouldn't be, especialy with its "faker" mode being something uncapable of harming actual flesh.

I feel like assuming it for no reason (especialy with its lack of conductivity) would be wrong,

I see

Looking at Ikki though he has metal on different parts of his outfit so Pyrrha should still be able to affect him if not his weapon

You mean his badge?

With how much of a heightened sense he has, he could just notice pyrrha manipulating it and take it off.

But its not like he will win easily. He's only real way to hurt pyrrha is on a timelimit (1 minute) and while he can one-shot, it only works for one swing, after wich he passes out.

Uhhh, everyone's just bandwagoning to be honest. Firstly, the match IS NOT speed equalized, AND Ikki's taking her seriously, so why won't he just go Ittou Shura and just blitz?

Going Ikki here, though I don't think this is a stomp considering Pyrrha would one shot normally.

I tought I changed that...

Speed will be equal with his high 8-C form, from which he can amp with 8-B one.

His High 8-C form only lasts a minute, and his 8-B form only lasts a second. Still fair though and I still go for Ikki via superior skill (Compared to what both combatants shown) and a chance to take out Pyrrha via his 8-B form.

His superior skill is offset by her polarity, superior weaponry and aura.

His 8B form as you said only lasts a second and all he needs to do is dodge.

He gets vastly faster each form, and since speed is equal and speed is allowed to be increased in vs matches now, Ikki, when it comes down to it, activates and blitzes, even if it's just 1 second.

He can only do one swing while using it, thats actually important.

Ih he gets close enough to swing and activates it, he is hitting her, no if or buts. Its whenever he can do that or not.

Pyrrha is able to switch between melee and range very easily given her polarity, her skill at richocheting her weapons off of things and people, and the fact that her spear is also also a gun
