8-C Brackets: Round 3

I guess tk and mundus could help with detached arm trying to kill him, don't know about 3589 itself

Final confrontation could damage the scp if close enough as well.

I'm gonna say scp because he can use its many hands to tank

Most of the light based magic is not offensive (unless you are a creature of darkness), powers include pathokinesis, detection, telepottation, minor hypnosis, armor and forcefield, healing, dream manipulation, between others that I do not remember right now.

Nameless powers include launching blasts of light around him, thst attack works against any creature alike ther abilities.

Hm, difficult to argue when no ones is asking, this will be slower than the previous two matches. Anyway, 3589 can regenerate arms but, can he regenerate any other part of the body? and the disembodied arms regenerate by themself, like, fingers or when they are cutted spawn more arms or just "die"?

He can only regen his arms, although he can generate enough of them to form a shield around his body.

The detached arms don't regenerate; he can only grow new ones off of his body. That put, he can do so at a rate of several hundred within minutes.

His magic resist should be similar but weaker to Monica's meaning he would resist elemental attacks like fire, BFR/Portal attacks, powernull, and general damage from magical energy.

I see, so magic powers from Romeo do not affect him or just a little, however, I guess that 3589 is no resistent to ki attacks (that include Mundus). Also, it is just magic resistance, right? he do not nullify it.

Non magical energies would hit him just fine, yeah.

Personally I'd say that 3589 wins unless Romeo uses his Ki attacks first, which is 50/50 looking at his abilities. The longer the fight lasts, the more arms 3589 can produce, and I feel like eventually he'll just overwhelm Romeo with hundreds of arms each with their own anomalous capabilities.

Also,

SCP-3589 - 1 (Risci)

Romeo Exxet -

Don't think that the individual arms can cause much of a problem, Ars Mundus can divert and repel any arm around him, even using them as the same way that 3589 can use them as a shield.

I mean, keep in mind each arm can carry anomalous powers, and Armando can control how they come out. They can be used as explosives, gravity traps, poisonous stingers, what have you.

The neutronium arms in particular will divert ranged attacks and de-balance Romeo.

Ah, it can also make them explode.

How do the gravity traps of arms works? It increase the gravity in a zone, increase the weight of the target...

I believe gravity traps comes from having an arm made out of a neutron star, so the gravity of the arm would be so strong it pulls things in.

Sure, but if you don't teleport far enough away it'll drag you back.

It'd also drag any attacks directed at 3589 towards the arm.

Those the attack works like real high gravity would work (crushing stuff), or is just a movement lock? The spell of teleportation has a range of hundreds of kilometers, so I don't think that's a teleporting far enough is a problem (not saying it will teleport hundreds of kilometers away tho, just far enough).

I'd need to re-read the tale. I know it at least works as a gravity well rather than a movement lock; a grenade chucked past it was attracted back to the arm and people's suits were brought into it, but I can't remember if it crushed anything.

EDIT: Here's the quote of it from the tale.

Armando summoned more mass than he had ever used, and grew an arm with a nanometer-thick neutron star skin. He couldn't maintain it for long, but he was desperate now. The gravity overwhelmed Figueroa and pulled her towards Armando, and he slammed her in the midsection, sending cracks spiraling through the rest of the suit and breaking her faceplate.
Figueroa didn't care that her face was exposed now; she had this in the bag. She reached to her side and threw her only null grenade, the gravity of the arm directing it. Armando ripped off the arm and threw it as hard as he could towards her. Figueroa flinched as the grenade erupted into absolute nothingness, leaving an empty void of reality right in front of her face where the arm was.''

So it has certain level of crushing force, but do not seems enough to cause several damage (I think?). It seems that it also takes great effort to create an arm like that, or at least, to control it.

Now, most of the "feats" of Romeo are stats, but here you can see how he fights, he can use Mundus even while being shielded.

True, but it didn't put him near his mass limit (which, for 3396 Instances, is their maximum output), it just tired him out.

That put, looking at Romeo's attacks, he can AoE a lot of the arms Armando can spread around the battlefeild, and seems to have a pretty solid defense. Armando could start adapting to his attacks by making arms out of materials that would be better for blocking those attacks, but I'd say they can keep the sheer number of Arms he can produce under wraps.

So, Romeo looks like he might take this with a decent amount of difficulty, seeing as he has better maneuverability and AoE attacks, as well as a solid defense.

All that would be left is AP, although IDK how far Romeo is into 8-C.

Romeo is being scaled from The Nameless and Griever (no profile yet) since is the same category as them; the Nameless survived an explosion that desteoyed partially a pillar of rock (no calc yet).

Can you link me the feat? I'm practicing calcs atm and if it just needs some pixelscaling and math I wouldn't mind doing one.

Damn it man, you jinxed it.

I mean, this match can still technically continue if the Low end is accepted since Armando is 1.5 Tons (A little over 3x weaker), but Romeo would have to be booted out of the brackets.

I'm starting to believe that the brackets are actually less of a set of VS Matches than they are content revision threads hidden as VS Threads.

Yeah, sneaky content revisions... Since were two junks I assumed lowest interpretation and that the pillar was just destroyed at the half.

Revise that later, along with the verse. Meanwhile, maybe you should proceed with the next match.

That necro, lol. This is outdated anyways, so...
