First Round of the 8-C Brackets begins!!! Our contestants for this round are Lyndis and Ichigo Kurosaki. Click here to see our current standings.

Speed is equalized. This is Substitute Shinigami Ichigo and Base Lyndis.

Ichigo seems to have the vetter abilities, so ubless the AP difference is really big, Ill say he wins
 
Hm. I personally think skill can certainly play into this, considering both have a tendency to get up close and personal, but Ichigo definitely takes an edge in versatility.

Im sure skill would play into it, but the versatility should make up for that if he were to be less skilled

Ichigo doesn't have hax, but he does have:

-Accelerated Development.

-Pseudo-Flight (Can stand on the sky).

-Spiritual Awareness/Ehnanced Senses (Can see the invisble beings like shinigami, hollows, etc).

-Extrasensory Perception (Can sense human's soul inside a bird from distance).

And basically most of enemies he fought is far more experience than him (Grandfisher able to elude and kill shinigami for 54 years), Trained karate since he was four years old, has fought variety of opponents like hollow that can spit acid (Acidwire), Hollow that can create explosive leeches (Shrieker), Can use threads to restrain and regenerate (Grand Fisher) and so on, so Ichigo is not that far behind in term of skill and experience IMO.

Not to mention the endurance and the stamina he has, can survive this and keep on fighting.

Though yeah, he's probably above 8-C since he stomped 20% Renji who is town level+ so...

For the sake of moving things along, I'll keep on tallying votes until I get a response under the assumption Ichigo is 8-C.

So, lemme just get this out of the way, yes, Ichigo is more versatile, but that doesn't exactly give him the win when ultimately, the amount of opponents this form of Ichigo has fought don't compare to Lyndis.

Yes, Ichigo is very smart...For how long he's been fighting.

Issue is this form of Ichigo hasn't fought for a particularly long period. Lyndis has years of expirience over him, and has simultaneously trained and fought repeatedly with other members of the party, those with fircefields, ranged attacks etc.

Ichigo's range isn't particularly impressivd by comparison to what she has fought.

There's literally zero notable characters aside from maybe Rukia that Renji is comparable too

Voting Lyndis, albeit in a hard fight.
 
Gargoyle actually brings up some good points; Lyndis has fought and trained with foes that have surprisingly similar powers to Ichigo.

To be fair, her profile do not say much besides being the strongest of the army and being a little unexperienced.

I may have rushed my vote, I forget that this is the unexperienced Ichigo that we are talking about, so, have Ichigo fought opponents as skilled/experienced as Lyndis?
 
Yeah I'm also switching to Lyndis this is Bos ichigo who doesn't have much experience compared to later keys.

Changing also my vote to Lyndis because I forgot that this was an inexperienced Ichigo who just got his Shinigami powers.
 
So I noticed Ichigo's Shupo hasn't been talker about. Is that the thing where he almost teleports? Cause that should probably close the skill gap a little bit.
 
I'm not really sure how the Shupo would work, but if it's teleportation that definitly makes things more complicated for Lyndis.

Going to switch since Ichigo results to be just an unexperienced teenager in the current key, furthermore, Lyndis seems to have the range advantage.
