I throw something semi related to my hat into the Satan spam which has seemed to have blown over but meh.

The one where "extremely mild physical Regenerationn" man suddenly becomes a being of pure energy yet still continues to fight, for example.

I would agree if it was more similar to the first instance where Sanguinius is pulled into an immaterial realm during his fight in the fortress, but this one was just kind of out of nowhere and in Madail's ship, which had a bad case of "being partially in two planes of existence at once". Yet somehow this event doesn't even inconvenience Sanguinius, which seems extremely odd.

I'd argue that not all Primarchs scale to the shit the strongest ones are pulling in recent books, specially since Sanguinius wasn't even aware of the true scale of his power until Ruinstorm.

Agreed, though I really hope it's made clear exactly what Sanguinius' hidden abilities are, soon. Ruinstorm made it clear he's not shown everything he can do, quite yet.

So like.

Where does this leave us?

I mean, we're kinda stuck at the same place as we were before...

Satan has a ridiculous numbers advantage, and his Regenerationn is pretty insane, but he only scales to a kilofoe feat, whereas Sanguinius scales to a gigafoe feat...

Except this time, the 40k dude can attack on a physical, mental, spiritual, and symbolic level...

But Satan still has the speed advantage, as he scales to a 4457000c feat, and Sanguine scales to a 7700 c, but it was done by a guy who held a PORTION of this guys power, and he has precognition...

Idk, don't know enough about 40k to say anything definitive

I don't see why not everything except the ones from sanginus's biology.

Unless someone wants to pull the "warp is higher dimensional and he's never copied higher dimensional stuff" card

Well.

I mean.

He hasn't.

Kinda NLF to say so without proof.

Every single psycher in Warhammer, even the most basic, can do stuff with the warp.

Hell, a lot of the warp isn't higher dimensional

Sanguinius is best Primarch-Husbando tier, Loyalist Horus is second.

Anyhow, I'm not sure who wins, waiting for more input.

Worth pointing this out, in the novel Wolfsbane we see the extent of the symbolical / metaphorical nature of the Primarchs, as Leman Russ performs trials for a Fenrisian Death God in the Warp, and is forced to literally drink the ocean, first as it is frozen during winter, then as it is boiling during summer, and then has to wrestle old age, and then lift death.

It is all extremely surreal and symbolical, and similarities to real Norse Mythology in that case are intentional and pointed out.

I don't think it's NLF

Anything like emperor's higher dimensional erasure, sure that's not happening. But just channeling the warp for psycher powers isn't always higher dimensional. Satan could probably learn how to use a few.

Also Satan doesn't need to mimic powers. He can copy Sanguinius' fighting style.
