Crazed American Tries to Shoot Down a Bird

I don't think soldier would be able to hit Pet Shop, considering how slow his rockets are and that the falcon tends to just fly above it's opponent and shoot at them. The only way I can see the Soldier landing a hit is either using his shotgun (Though it's unlikely it would hit given it's lack of accuracy) or using a rocket jump, but he's probably gonna get taken down before he gets the chance.

Solider will probably whip out his shotgun if his rockets don't work.

Either that or he could just whack the bird with a shovel.

Doesn't seem like he'll have much trouble hitting.

You... Don't know about Pet Shop, right?
I kinda skipped most of Part 3 so not really I probably have made a horrible mistake ohno

I'll assume Pet Shop has the size of a peregrine falcon or a bit bigger.

In any case, this is a surprisingly hard match. Soldier could win this somewhat easily with some well-thought strategies, but sadly, he's incredibly dumb. Yes, he's extremely experienced in combat and has some fighting smarts, but 99% he relies on pure brute force. In fact, canon Soldier is much stupider than most players who use Soldier in matches.

In any case, Soldier has some opions here:

  • Air-gardening his way to victory. However, considering Pet Shop is smaller, more agile in air and can freeze everything around him, it's on the very least a risky bet for Soldier.
  • Shooting him down with a shotgun. While it is innacurate, it isn't as bad as you guys make it out to be. At mid-range it is still more than an effective weapon, and at close range it is outright devastating. That being said, I don't like the odds of putting Soldier's shotgun V.S. Pet Shop's ice spam. Panic Attack may be a good solution.
There are a few ways I could see Soldier pulling this off, such as hitting Pet Shop with Disciplinary Action and using the speed amp to gain enough leverage to blast him to death, but the actual Soldier is too dumb to really think of that.

As much as I love TF2 and the Soldier... Pet Shop got this with hard diff, but most likely decisively.

Vote Counted, also want to mention Beggar's Bazzoka if that changes anything in all of your opinions.

I considered it, but unless Pet Shop tries to stay close of the Soldier at all times (Which would be a really bad idea), it is kind of a moot point. I mean, it shoots barrages of rockets, but they aren't really faster than normal rockets and, in fact, are more easily telegraphed since the Soldier has to load them before each shot. Pet Shop's small size and maneveurability will allow him to slip through the rockets.

Pet Shop FRA. Soldier's weapons' lack of accuracy and/or slow moving projectiles, combined with Pet Shop's ice spam, flight, and maneuverability alongside Soldier's low IQ, makes this a win for the falcon.

If you can say nothing else for the Soldier, he's probably not an awful shot, and the Direct Hit has a good chance of hitting Petshop.

That said, he's altogether to slow to avoid getting pincushioned with ice.

It's entirely a matter of who shoots first, and therefore entirely a matter of luck.

If he's using the Direct Hit, inconclusive.

On the other hand, he's also a moron, who wouldn't be smart enough to open the fight with his best bet of a weapon, so Petshop wins.

After actually seeing what Pet Shop is capable of in the anime, I have to vote for the Ice Bird FRA.

Keep yer eye on the birdy for reasons above

The one guy voting for Soldier changed to Bird. It's desisive.
