Danny Phantom vs Ichigo Kurosaki

If I'm reading the scaling right.

Danny is 24 Kilotons

Ichigo is around 61 Kilotons

So Ichigo has the AP and Durability advantege. However I think Danny could win given his abilities. Intangibility, Possession, Duplication, Ice Blasts and lastly his Ghostly Wail could help given it can harm those more powerful then Danny.

I agree with LordGriffin1000. Danny has far better versatility here, in particular with his overshadow, ice blasts, and intangibility.

I'm going with Danny here.

Danny gets my vote for stated reasons. That possession and intangibility being hard for Ichigo to counter as intangibility does not really exist in Bleach and we have seen ghosts possess other ghosts in Danny Phantom. Poindexter trying to possess Danny and wound up body swaping with him by accident (Splitting Images) and Danny possessing Vlad's duplicate that was in ghost form (Eye for an Eye). So there is a good chance Danny can possess Ichigo and make Ichigo cut himself in half or something like that.

And also, Ghostly Wail can harm those stronger than Danny. Look no further than the Ultimate Enemy. Danny harmed his much more powerful future self with it before trapping him in the thermos.

Can Danny posses or use the abilities above while in Ecto-Skeleton?

As far as I see Danny's Ecto-Skeleton wastes a lot of his energy.

Danny cannot overshadow a person or a ghost if he is not fully concentrated or someone with enough willpower to stop him. And Ichigo's willpower is not should not be underestimated because he can break out kidos binding while in his human. Heck, even in his fight with Byakuya he resist Hollow Ichigo/Zangetsu's influence and snapped out of it.

Intangibility does exist in Bleach, as the hollow that attack Orihime can force Orihime's soul out from her body without hurt her real body as the next panel show us that the real Orihime's body is not bleeding.

But of course the question is can Danny be intangible in this form while using the Ecto-Skeleton while it wasting his energy?

Ghostly Wail doesn't ignore durability though, I see in his profile that 8-A, higher with the Ghostly Wail and his powerful future self is only 8-A. And a major downside of this ability is that this reverts Danny back to his base form < (This directly from his profile btw).

Ice doesn't really work out if the opponents is far more powerful and can potentialy break it.

I can see Ichigo winning by outlast Danny as this Ichigo can trains with Urahara for ten days and can take numerous punishment.

Ummm

How is this not a stomp when Ichigo can't effect let alone hurt Danny?

Verse equalization? I mean Zanpakuto can be seen as Anti-Ghost Weapon as it cleansed soul.

Does the intangibility is passive or is it need to activate first?

But of course, if Ichigo can't hurts Danny then all my reasoning is kinda wasted >_>

Verse Equalization doesn't cancel out intangibility.

It's passive as he's literally a ghost.

This is a stomp

Well the intangibility in Danny Phantom because most of them is ghost right?

And in Bleach, Souls = Ghosts and can harmed each other.

Well Danny has to activate his intangibility(It's activated when he's see through) It's not a passive thing in the Danny Phantom verse

So it's not passive. The question is can he become intangible while using the Ecto-Skeleton?

And I wonder if under verse equalization Zanpakuto can be categorized as anti-ghost weapons because It cleanse souls...

anyway this is close, but I go with Ichigo FRA, this ultimately comes down to a battle of attrition. Can Ichigo hold out against Danny long enough to win, as the Ecto-Skeleton was Draining him extremely fast when he tried duplicating to 4 of himself against Pariah Dark. Think about what the Ghostly Wail or his Ice powers would drain him? And that hit drains each time it's it? Danny is fighting a battle against Ichigo and a battle about maintaining and properly utilizing what energy he'll have left. The only reason he won against Dark was that he sealed him and was almost drained then, in this situation, he's at a complete lost.

Honestly, I feel as if Danny doesn't need the Ecto-Skeleton. My stated reasons above came from Danny not using the Ecto-Skeleton.

But the Ghostly Wail harmed Dan, who was another 8-A.

Possession requires him to have a greater will than the target, and Dot already pointed out Ichigo has a strong will.

so even if base Danny.goes intangible, he's not going to be able to do anything

In the suit he can at least damage Ichigo but is still risking his energy, and like I said earlier Danny nearly lost to Pariah Dark because of this.

Just because there's souls in Bleach it doesn't mean they're intangible. Hollows are souls, and Chad without his special powers was able to sucker punch them. The only thing they have is the fact that they're invisible.

Agreed. Danny's intangibility would certainly work. Ghosts in his verse are capable of affecting the physical world anyway. Running on the ground, punching holes in walls, etc. Like stated above, their intangibility must be activated.

True, the suit does drain his energy. But that only makes Danny more prone to using his abilities. Duplication, ice blasts that will hinder Ichigo, giving Danny precious seconds, intangibility that render all of Ichigo's attacks useless, invisibility that allow Danny to potentially surprise Ichigo with what could be a ghostly wail. Danny simply has more going for him here. His versatility actually does something, in particular his ice manipulation paired with his duplication. Such that even if his possession doesn't work, which it very well might not (though those will strong will have been possessed before iirc, like Vlad) his versatility still gives him plenty of edge.

Yeah it is passive you even watch the intro? He flys through the wall without even going invis.

literally 5 seconds i

I mean, HST already explained why Ecto-Skeleton was Draining Danny extremely fast when he tried duplicating to 4 of himself. The more he use his power the more he drain his energy.

Ice won't hold him for long since Ichigo has 2.5 times stronger AP and Durability. And Ichigo is pretty resilience, in his fight with Renji his bleeding left and right and can still fighting, and Danny 2.5 times weaker than him and his energy is drained the more he use his power.

Well, I agree souls in Bleach is not intangible, but souls in Bleach is indeed invisible, I believe Ichigo can see Danny or Sense him.

What are reasons for Danny again?

-Danny's Possession probably won't work on Ichigo since he has strong willpower and I doubt he can posses while in Ecto-Skeleton armor.

-His versatility will drain his energy if he use it too much thanks to Ecto-Skeleton armor and Ichigo has higher durability (2.5 times higher) and can fights for days during his training with Urahara.

-Intangibility needs to activates first because if it's passive, then how he can interact to physical material if he constantly intangibles?

In the end this gonna be battle of attrition.

His versatility will drain his energy. Yes, this has already been established as a weakness both here and in his verse. However, I've given details on why his versatility helps him obtain the win here.

Firstly, as far as his intangibility, Danny can easily turn it on and off mid fight, and has shown this multiple times. It's not something that really drains his energy all that much considering how much he can spam it. He can activate it to go through attacks and deactivate it when he's on the offensive. Kinda like Mirio from MHA, just not to that extent.

The ice doesn't need to hold Ichigo for long. But it'll certainly hold him long enough for Danny to get one or two free hits in. With duplication, those hits will build up until Ichigo is essentially too worn down to do much. Considering that none of his attacks will work due to Danny's intangibility, there's not really too much Ichigo can do here. The battle won't fall to one of attrition when one opponent literally won't be able to hit the other one for as long as they're conscious.

Also, there's no real reason as to why Ichigo would be able to see Danny when he's invisible. Ichigo has never shown the ability to actively see invisible enemies before. Him being a soul doesn't give him the ability to see invisible objects. It just allows him to interact with other souls. Danny is a ghost, not a soul. And even if ghosts = souls here, Danny would be unique in that he can genuinely turn invisible.

Except Ichigo has higher durability over two times. He can also take a lot of punishment seeing he can take numerous blow from people that same level at him and Danny is 2 times weaker and his energy will constantly drained, he can't be intangibles forever. He can take some of Danny's attack thanks to his durability and endurance. And Ichigo can play smart if he knows IF he can't hit him he can do hit and run tactics like he did to Kenpachi.

I mean, are the suit it self can be intangible? Is there a scan where he can phase through wall or phase through the attacks while using the suits?

Ichigo can sense reiatsu, and the spiritiual beings in Bleach is invinsibles verse equalization is in effect here, so he should be able to see Danny, even in earlier series he has shown able to sense reiatsu from a soul of a bird. Bleach has the thing reikaku that allow them to fight without relying their 5 senses.

Ichigo even when blinded can still see reiatsu.

To make me desperate?

Alright, I'm just gonna unfollow this thread because I know people will vote for Danny regardless then.

What? Most fights he's slammed against objects without phasing through them. There was even an episode where he couldn't control his powers and kept phasing through things accidently, and not phasing when he wanted to.

@Lit

Outside the suit, no it doesn't drain him that much. But so much as shooting a normal ecto blast takes a considerable amount of energy inside the suit. So how much would constantly phasing take?It will fall to a war of attrition if

A. Danny attempts to use the ghostly wail or ice and Ichigo is still standing, he's screwed

B. If danny just decides to phase all day, he's screwed

C. If he duplicates to 4 he's screwed

So much as being ATTACKED drains the suit

All of Danny's actions are controlled by how much energy he has, even moving and basic attacks. Ichigo can essentially keep spamming getsuga (which he does in character),dodge in the air, or keep hammering at Danny with his ap advantage, which is just gonna drain the suit further.

Danny has a finite amount of actions until he's left defenseless and none of them can put Ichigo down

Ichigo does not have this problem.

No, since he can still be slammed against solid objects like tables, walls, etc.

If his intangibility was passive he wouldn't be hitting any of these things and it would make no sense to turn it off to intentionally get hit.

Invisibility? Ichigo has extra sensory perception.

Intangibility? Ichigo and Karin even being human could play in ghosts.

Code:
I go with ichigo, AP and greater durability ..

1. That whole "Danny can't possess someone with Higher Willpower" is BS, and was never stated. Only him needing to concentrate is legit so that part needs to be removed.

2. Danny can possess others in the Ecto suit, nothing suggests he can't so stop assuming please.

3. Danny has as stamina issue but it's not a massive one and he knows how to regulate the amount of power he uses.

4. Danny's Intangibility is a little inconsistent at times but it's consistently portraied as being completely unfazed and not effecting the environment.

5. If Ichigo can hit intangible beings then I'm closing this as it's a stomp given the only thing he could potentially do to hurt him is Ghostly Wail (which won't kill Ichigo, just effect him) and Possession but given it isn't a 100% chance he'd use it until he realizes he can hurt him and he'd probably be low on energy at that time in the fight.

<Damny can't posses someone with higher willpower

We're not seriously giving a person resistance based on willpower even though this was debunked for years now are we?

Danny FRA

The closest thing to Ichigo touching intangible things is Spirit Ribbons, which were said by Uryu are only able to be seen by high level Spiritual Beings and touched by even higher ones.

He never used the Ghostly Wail and Ice powers in the suit and since duplication was already extremely taxing using either one of those puts him in dire straits.

The Tiny Danny Clone attempted to possess Danny who's only different via genetic stability and size and Danny resisted it. Possession requires a higher willpower

If Danny is capable of possession then I'm sticking with him. No need to expand upon my other reasoning in that case.
