His flight and shunpo is really useful to avoid the attack from Cockroach and while Cockroach has limited flight, he doesn't have speed amp like Ichigo, Ichigo can also spam getsuga and attack from save distance to overhelm the Cockroach.
His accelerated development will help him to adapt the Cockroach's fighting style like he did to Ikkaku and Renji.
He also can amp his power by focusing his reiatsu (and he can match Eye Patchless Kenpachi with this).
And in term of endurance, Ichigo has a good survivability and stamina since he can keep fighting while getting stabbed left and right and can fight for days during his training with Urahara. So yeah Ichigo take this.
