Tappei finally is having consistent updates again, wish he was more like the arifureta writer, who updates every saturday and on every special day, valentines, christmas, etc.
Speaking of special days, subaru's birthday is coming up soon, wonder if we will get another if story? Don't see what could beat the dark lord if though.

What if instead of emilia he met crusch instead or anastasia or felt? Could be good.
Dark lord if is the best so far though, not sure anything can top it, the one with the broken emilia who was completely dependent on subaru, and subaru just spamming return by death, was probably 2nd best if imo.

Ekidona IF and Dark Lord IF subaru are the subaru's people usually expect when they first come into re zero, they want to see him abuse the crap out of rbd to overcome whatever obstacle is in front of him, i think that's sort of geniric, in plenty of series with the ability like this this is what happens, the protag abuses the ability and eventually sort of becomes immoral.
If subaru abused his ability we wouldn't get him struggling as much or the sufferring and mental torture, so i think it's more interesting this way.

Well, of course, you won't have story this way but this type of powers are meant to abuse and you will lose the value of life once you have such power, your own life and the people around you

Similar power as in time manipulation or parallel world shenanigan's, eventually the characters comes to point where they just don't care about anything anymore, or try to abuse their ability.

Off the top of my head, charlotte is one example i can think of, the protag has a time reset/reverse ability, and things kept going bad for him so he stopped caring at one point, or he just gave up, one or the other, if i remember correctly.

Ex novel 2 has been translated, read it, was pretty good.
Apparently there will be a 3rd ex novel coming out on June 25 which will focus on wilhelm and stride, no idea who stride is, can't complain about wilhelm though.

I don't mind Petra, she's a sweet girl. Bea I can get through and accept her characterization. Garfiel I can't stand! He acts like a child throwing a temper tantrum. Prisilica I hate the most, worse than Subaru. Anastasia is best girl. Ricardo is best girl. And we still don't know when it is his birthday ever since his appearance for a year and a half ago...

I don't the full details but in this loop Rem dies by the curse and Ram goes after him except this time he escapes and doesn't commit suicide, from there on Subaru start his own organization and kill Roswall "I like how Subaru kill this clown in every IF lol" and he takes Ram as hostage but for some reason doesn't kill her
Over the time he starts a massive war and kills tons of people including many we know including Beatrice and because everything around him changed Subaru grew tired of everything except Emilia "for her pure soul" and Ram "because of her hatred"
At some point he comes face to face with Rei-chan and Emilia take his side and fight Reinhard for him along with Puck, Puck is killed but Subaru is disappointed that Emilia fought with him instead of siding with Rei-chan because she must have standards and he comes to the conclusion that she changed as well
He abandons the poor girl crying and wounded and goes back to Ram because she's the only one who didn't change although even her hatred for him faded with time passing

He doesn't break his gate in this IF so he can use magic properly and unlike the main story Ram is in her Prison most of the time so she doesn't need that much Magic I think although iirc she needed the five elements to supply her with magic so I don't know how Subaur managed that

Too little info on celius, he is said to be lightning speed, uses lightning and is >base reinhard, would want to confirm the facts first before doing anything.
As for reinhard not being tier 7, what do you mean? You forgot we aren't doing the whole small country level or whatever rating anymore? Best feats for base reinhard is scaling to regulus who is city level.
