He uses PK Flash which either makes you cry or has a very low chance of killing you. To be fair I'd cry if I was flashed to but I have no idea how that would kill someone.
 
My bad, should have specified. It destroys the body or simply shuts it down? If it's the latter it probably won't do much due to the nature of Sayaka's immortality
 
Again I don't see how Sayaka still being alive if her body is destroyed is helpful. She's technically still alive, sure, but unless the soul gem can make a new body, it's literally just a gem. At least that's how I understood it.
 
That's not what I meant tho. I meant that if the OHK is "gg drop dead" the fact that her body is a puppet helps. If it disintegrate her it doesn't.
 
Well I've not played Earthbound and I've seen the PMMM once through and was quite bored so I can't really provide any information on either.
 
Ok wow... This is kinda interesting...

Ok so here's what I can see from this fight here...

Ness's main attacks are kinda useless as she can just regen and heal before she can succumb to said damage.

Ness's best shot is to do as follows:

Set up shields so Sayaka's attacks can do less damage to Ness and reflect said damage back and kinda force Sayaka be more careful in engaging Ness.

Next, Ness has to constantly either put her to sleep or hinder her in some way so he can just spam PK Flash until it's 1 hit KO hits and do enough damage to negate her Regen. But he really has to pour o the status effects as she apparently can remove those status effects.

Next question you may ask is: Can Ness pull this off?

Maybe, Ness can tank very devastating attacks and still manage to heal himself back to full and set up more shields so he can play the long game. But him pulling this off is still iffy as it is all up to a random chance.

Also Sayaka has a few abilities that aren't really fleshed out in her profile such as: Sleep Manipulation and Life Absorption.

I want to vote inconclusive for reasons I stated above. But I'd be willing to change if sufficiently new information comes up.

Also, she is becoming resistant to status effects.

Sleep manip is sending a sound wave that puts people to sleep, and life absorption is stealing life force with her attacks.
 
What Kal meant is the status effects present in PMMM, not the entire spectrum of effects.

@Starry Burn, Stun (Power Nullification + Weaknesses become more of a burden), Cursed (Curse Manipulation), Charm (Emotion Manipulation), Bind (Stun + Negates Healing and Regen), Poison, Fog (Minor weather Manipulation), Darkness (Darkness Manipulation + Weakness becomes more of a burden), Dazzle (Minor Light Manipulation, negates regen and healing, weaknesses become more of a burden), Skill Seal (Ability Negation), Magia Seal (Transformation Negation + Stronger Attacks Negation)

(Kal it should probably include all overall status alignments as well)
 
None of these seem like any of the status effects Ness induces, unless uncontrollable crying counts as Emotion Manipulation but I'd argue it wouldn't because I'm incredibly biased it's just the act of crying, he's not making her sad, I don't think.
 
I mean, he inflicts stun via inflicting stun.

Also hypnosis sounds like something that wouldn't affect her, due to her mind resistance. Also what's "highly intelligent" in this case?

Btw MG Sayaka can't summon Oktavia anymore

It worked on literal zombies so I don't see why not.

Also inanimte objects, incorporeal ghosts, etc.

Pretty sure the question you should have asked is if it would kill her if her existence is in something else @Kal.
