Precog is gonna come in handy here, allowing for him to dodge Ichigo's Getsuga.


Has higher AP with his gears allowing him to damage Ichigo more easily.


Better stamina feats


Armament Haki allowing him for even higher AP and in this case ties in with Precog. Being rubber he's obviously somewhat weak to slashing attacks however he can counter this with both Armament Haki and Observation. See Luffy vs Fujitora, Luffy blocks the Majority of his slashes with his arm's while covered in Haki. His arm's aren't the only place he can cover them in, he can cover his side's, chest arc.

Welp.. How good is Luffy precog though? Can't Ichigo fool Luffy's precog with Afterimage? Also in this version can Luffy fly?

Precog helps luffy see incoming attacks, so after images aren't that much help to Ichigo when speed is equalized.
 
This fight kinda unbalance in my opinion, not only Luffy can dodge Ichigo's attack with precog, he can tank Ichigo's Attack, Luffy has "At least Mountain Level" durability, not to mention his AP, "At least Mountain Level, higher with gears," so this like Ichigo vs Mordred situation where Ichigo get oneshotted which is why that match is removed, and to make things worse, as I mention above... Ichigo's 7-A is questionable and will be revised.
 
Yeah Ichigo's 7-A is very questionable. But as for his Gears Luffy only has the likely higher thanks to Gear 3rd.
 
I know, but it will be more safer, it will not raised any question or the result will be removed should Ichigo's profile is going to be revised.

But of course, it's all up to OP, I'm just giving a suggestion. I mean even the gif of Ichigo is his bankai version (7-C) ovo
 
I dunno how reliable would Luffy's precog be against Ichigo's afterimages. The skill hasn't shown itself to be reliable all the time. And there's also the fact that Ichigo uses cutting attacks which Luffy has a weakness to so I dunno.
 
Again I point to Fuji vs Luffy . Luffy wasn't cut a single time IIRC. At this point Luffy doesn't need to constantly use precog, he's capable of dodging normally albeit much better with Observation Haki. And Luffy can use Armament to counter the slashing thing. Also Luffy has higher AP.

Also you used observation Haki as an argument for Zoro vs Ichigo. If after images aren't a problem for Zoro the same can be said for Luffy.
 
Yes I know Luffy can use Haki to defend himself, but if he overuses it, it taxes his body.

And when I said Haki for Zoro I meant in normal swordfight. I don't remember Ichigo using afterimages in the heat of battle, he just uses it to confuse opponents on his first strike. Also Zoro has his own afterimages with Asura so it kinda evens out. And he's more careful and analyzing than Luffy.
 
Key word "overuse" that's the things. Luffy has never been shown to tire while in base form from Haki unlike Gear Fourth and even then he can use that for 20 minutes. And that's with his his body covered so his Haki will last much longer here.


And Luffy technically has After Images via Gear 2nd attacks. So I guess that evens things out as well. And as for Asura those are illusions rather than After Images. Not to mention that nobody even mentioned the use of Asura in that thread.
 
Fair points, although to be fair I implied his Asura and Burning did mention it.

In any case, I think I'm gonna go with Luffy for reasons above then.
 
Ah my mistake I guess. Forgot that Burning mentioned Asura. It's just kinda weird using his Asura since the multiplier is unknown.


Off Topic: Would you actually happen to know how many gigatons is 7-A Zoro.?

Baseline in base and a bit higher with Asura. IIRC his feat with Pica yielded high end 7-B results.
 
I'll have to go with Luffy on this one. Far more creative and versitle in his moves. Speed equalized so no blitz from Ichigo. Precog will help him dodge. I believe G4 is the 6C and above version of Luffy so no G4 allowed according to OP. The only 7A version of Ichigo I can think of is Full Bringer Bankai Ichigo.

Good fight, but Luffy likely wins with high difficulty.
