Zoro is the more skilled fighter and his techniques give him a range advantage I believe. However genos does have a more area range advantage and his firepower is tremendous. With speed equalized It's a tough one but I give this to zoro because unlike genos he's not careless in battle and his skill is just as good if not better than genos. His katanas are strong enough to also can cut his metal arms and body and has a variety of moves to use against.Even genos I believe stated that he trades skill over power when bang offered to train him and Saitama. Plus zero could also predict his moves with Haki so zoro takes this with high difficulty
Genos has a severe lack in battle expertise. He has consistently shown that he will drop his guard if he believes he has an upper-hand and he believes that simple fire-power will grant him all he needs to defeat his opponent. He does have immense fire-power and range as compared to Zoro, who is likely out-stripped by both categories, however.
Zoro is a combat genius and has a level of pre-cognition and can detect Genos' location via Observation haki. His Armament haki is at least Adept, so I'd expect him to be at least capable to coat his body in invisible armor, which will help him block out the force and heat from Genos' attacks (Much like when Doflamingo almost nullified Aokiji's freezing and Sanji's Diable Jambe). Zoro has an impressive level of endurance. He can tank numerous attacks from people around his level of power and continue fighting, proving that his stamina should not be underestimated. Genos is overpowered in these categories.
Zoro is likely to win mid, possibly high difficulty due to being a superior combatant, having an ability to mitigate the heat from Genos' attacks, Genos being a careless fighter and fairly ignorant when it comes to battle strategy, Zoro having SOME level of pre-cognition, and the fact that we've yet to see him unleash Asura and he is capable of already matching Genos' AP with his own without revealing any feats from Asura.
PS: @Grudge -- I'm seriously struggling to fully research Kenshiro... if I can't find much of anything on his weaknesses, I might decide his fight against Doflamingo to be either inconclusive (both can possibly one-shot) or even in favor of Kenshiro.
@cincameron Kenshiro has no exposable weakness any flaws in the manga he had he overcomes them by adapting. Examples being when he faced heart a guy who was pretty much physically immune to blunt attacks and pressure points but Kenshiro adapted to him and defeated him. Second example Kenshiro vs souther a guy who had no pressure points (later revealed that all his pressure points were in reverse.) defeated Kenshiro in their first fight but after adapting to his nanto ho oh Ken and figuring out his secret from nothing more than a heartbeat he soundly defeated him. Ps this is not the right thread to debate lets move to the "Kenshiro vs Doflamingo" thread.
Genos gets trashed (note: I don't mean losing battles, I mean he loses limbs) by monsters and people in groups that Zoro could solo alone. Blame it on his Worf Effect, but Genos is a glass cannon and someone like Zoro would be able to cut him down to just a head and torso in no time. You also have to take into account that memorizing how Genos' mechanical parts move would be a walk in the park for Zoro with O. Haki, allowing him to predict all of Genos' movements after little battle time has passed.
