However, there is no need for a qualitative transcendence for something like this, Zeref has enough feats to get transduality 1.

I'm not saying it's beyond life and death, I'm saying it's independent of life and death. Zeref is a stronger being than Ankhseram. You just have to be superior to life and death to kill Zeref. I didn't say Zeref is superior to life and death.

1) Zeref is alive by his own admission and against his will
2) He was killed by Mavis's instance of the curse which is proof he can die in the right circumstances.
Both of the above suggest that zeref is not independent of life and death.
Are you seriously claiming that Zeref is stronger than Ankhseram? The God who cursed Zeref with immortality, and according to you, independence from life and death, the thing that you seem to think makes Zeref superior to them.
