i already have every S-rank so i'll probably go for either another copy of lycaon or rina, haven't decided yet

as for W-engine, might pick up S11's just to have another good option for an attack W-engine
 
I'm debating on whether I should go for more mindscapes or try for her w engine. There aren't that many Rupture W-Engines and the ones that are available don't suit her stats

I built pity so Yixuan and her W-Engine was guaranteed within 24 each. So it was easy clap. Also pulled Pan so also and built them both. I can't wait to get Fufu too. That team is gonna be peak.

lost both yixuan and her w-engine's 50/50 💔💔 (both to S11 and her WE funnily enough.) ended up having to resort to my secret technique just to secure both 💳

gonna play the chapter later today, was busy all day yesterday finishing up deltarune chapter 4 (peak btw)

I was afraid we would never get to use the modified Dead End Butcher mace calc but then the Bangboo Mech Event showed up lol. Crazy how Eous could theoretically scale above other Agents this way lol
 
finished 2.0's story
i thought it was fine. nothing too extraordinary, but it wasn't bad either. this chapter was a good introduction to yunkui summit, and it definitely feels more like a setup chapter for what's to come, like chapter 1 did for season 1. first half felt a bit slow to me tbh, but i do think it picked up a lot more in the latter half. i thought the overarching conflict was pretty interesting, the climax fight was really cool, and i'm very interested in seeing how that ending is gonna set up for future plot points, especially with yixuan possibly going to have to confront an ethereal version of her sister. i'd give the story like a 7-7.5/10 overall, pretty solid stuff, and like i said, i think it was a pretty good intro to what we should expect in the chapters to come. definitely interested in seeing where things go from here

in terms of feats i'm gonna have to go back and rewatch some of the cutscenes to get a better look at them but there were some things i thought might be notable. yixuan's talisman barrier thingy covering the entirety of failume heights, more storm creation ethereal stuff from the looks of it, and a lot more explanations on how both ether and miasma work
 
Finished the story

Currently feel mixed on it as I felt it’s a solid start of a season but my experience with it was occasionally poor due to bad lag, sometimes freezing for like a few minutes that made me think it crashed, and messy text.
I originally was taking it slow to see around the map and talking with NPC’s but eventually started to continue focus on going through it after that temple renovation quest and tutorial, I think that should’ve been for after you complete the main story.

I’ll be going through the story itself again in my own time to better process it later but at the moment I thought it was good, I liked all the members of Yunkui Summit and am looking forward to seeing more of Manato and Damian, the former is a cool bro while the later I immediately felt wasn’t a terrible dude given we see him in the Season 2 PV alongside that unique Thiren girl while their showing the future agents.
One issue I remember having though was how it felt like we were gonna have a fight with the corrupted doctor but then we’re just out of the Hollow and we talked with Yixuan afterward that he had dialogue on Yunkui Summit’s past and that the people know what the fake cure does to them yet I don’t recall either, IDK just if I just missed it but it felt off to me.

I was surprised to see us defeat the Exaltist Overseer as I’d thought that would have more build up but then they resurrect(?) and create a Ethereal version of Yijiang, I’m guessing this was their backup plan in case they failed to defeat Yixuan themselves.
I can see why Swordmaster was awarded the title of VH for defeating one if they were as devious and prepared as this one.
 
Also I know it's not a twist by any means but
I saw the exaltist involvement from a million miles away when they mentioned the defective medicine. Kind of ruined my enjoyment of the story because I had it clocked to rights from the beginning 😔

I felt the twist they were mainly going for was Damian not being a antagonist at all but, as mentioned, I felt there was more to him given we see him among the likely future agents in the season 2 preview.

i noticed that too actually, how there was a sudden jump to us being out of the hollow and talking with yixuan. i feel like there were a few other weird jumps between scenes throughout the chapter, to the point where sometimes i thought i accidentally skipped certain scenes

i've also heard a lot of people this patch having really bad performance issues so that definitely isn't just a you thing. i was fine personally the entire time i was palying through the story but i also do have a PC with higher end parts so that's probably partly why
 
Displacing clouds could be but idk about making a hole in the clouds, let me look it up
 
Alright, shouldn't be so difficult. Just need to get the volume of clouds and the speed at which the hole was made. Can someone refer to me to a video of the feat?
 
So to confirm some abilities and info I remember we got in the story

Mind Manipulation and Madness Manipulation (Type 3; Miasma, a special Ether-derived substance, is stated to cause hallucinations in those who come in contact with it, driving them mad)

Poison Manipulation and Limited Life Manipulation (Miasma is toxic and can inflict Miasma Contamination, those inflicted will take DMG based on their current HP percentage)

Forcefield Creation(?), Statistics Amplification and Damage Reduction (Boss Miasma enemies can generate a Miasma Field that provide them with a Miasma Shield, protecting them from damage until destroyed. Enemies within a Miasma Field are granted massive DEF and Damage Reduction)

Limited Durability Negation and can Bypass Forcefield Creation (Rupture Agents can deal Sheer DMG, ignoring enemy defenses and bypassing Miasma Shield which protect the enemy from damage until destroyed)

Yunkui Summit have all their techniques root in their manipulation of Ether, unlocking the ability to manipulate it through resonating with it’s frequencies after having balancing their acupoints and ensuring energy can flow through their meridians at a suitable time and a place with proper Feng Shui. These are the current techniques of Yunkui Summit I remember:

Enhanced Senses (Vision; Perception Technique: Insight allows one to see and track the lingering traces of Ether that are previously invisible)

Limited Disintegration (Perception Technique: Disintegration can forcibly disrupt the resonance frequency of Ether, causing a rapid phase transformation that ultimately breaks the target down)

Chi Manipulation (Via warding off external Ether while reinforcing their inner meridians and muscles, one can use Qi to enhance their durability)

will go through the story again to confirm a lot of this but yeah, this seems about right

nice to see the verse getting a lot more abilties/hax, i do feel like that's one aspect a lot of the characters currently are lacking in
 
If you freeze the frame, the descending birds size compared to her body is significantly larger than her so it's definitely not the regular bird size you see in her sprint for example

I think I see it, it’s going into Yixuan as it snaps to gameplay right?

So the descending bird matches the full size version we see in the character and latest chapter?
 
No good way to tell but it is certainly bigger than normal. The true value probably lies somewhere in between. I'll go ahead and check her cutscene in the boss and see if it lines up. This may just be the highest end

Yeah it’s possible it’s an in between form as head is different from the one in combat but doesn’t seem to match the full size version to me, could be wrong as it is hard to fully see and compare.

yeah, that's true. i don't think tier 7 for the top tiers of the verse is that farfetched, and 7-C to 7-B isn't big enough of a gap for the feat to be considered an outlier either
