Yupia's Rampage Part 8: Yupia vs Aigis

From what I recall there isn't a non player controlled instance she does this.

Or kiting her opponents to range Spam for that matter

1. She doesn't have too many options other than amp and attack. At least not in this key.

2. She can act on her own as an party member/NPC while you're in control of Makoto.

1. And Yupia's literal only way to close the distance is Amp, plus, as you said, Aigis can just use an attack instead, which gets tanked.

I'm also just remembering that Aigis doesn't have ehnhanced senses so she can't actually see Yupia in the middle of Central Park

And people continue to ignore the range advantage that Yupia has literally no way to close. I give up at this point.
I already countered that with this:

"Extracensory Perception allows her to see attacks coming and act accordingly"

Yupia will know an attack is coming and block it or dodge it. She'll analyze the types of attacks as well. She can close the range gap little by little.

@Schnee One huh you ninja'd me but like I said right after you. Yupia is still able to close the gap with what I said.

She has sensors and targetting systems, and the range to actually do something with it.

Aigis is an analytical ranged fighter with no reason to get close or let her opponent do so. If she sees Yupia closing in, she'll back up. If she sees Yupia amp and get faster, assuming she hasn't done the same already, she'll amp too.

No I mean it's a combination of extrasensory perception and information analysis. She'll know what Agis is about to perform and will know exactly where it's coming from.

She's comparable to Erebus who is baseline when weakened.
Yupia incinerated/oneshot someone more than three times baseline without really trying.
uh

doesn't that make this a stomp

I think so, but apparently Aigis can kite for such a huge amount of time that she can figure out to seal her away due to the range advantage

Which doesn't make much sense nor did Aigis ever do that barring once

I'll vote for Yupia actually, now that I think about this more, I don't think Aigis would/could keep Yupia at long range for long enough to run down the latter's stamina. And if Yupia gets in range to use electricity she oneshots.

Either voting Yupia or calling this a stomp. Aigis sealed once, and that was in circumstances we have no details on. In fact, I doubt she'd even try to seal at all, considering that she knows now that the thing she'd be sealing would go into some random passerby. Back in her fight with Death, she had no human emotions, so she would have done it without a second thought. Now though, she does, and it would be out of character for her to do it again.

So there's even more reasoning against her sealing then, wish I didn't waste my time on that.

This being Aigis with Pallas Athena means she could very well still be in the same mindset as when she fought Death.

(Edit: By 'Pallas Athena', I mean the key being used, not the Persona itself)

Either way it's not like it matters since, to repeat myself from Aigis vs Berserker... she will absolutely use sealing if, and only if it's her only win condition, via SBA rules for a character's mindset.

I lost interest in this match's outcome and unfollowed it a while ago, but saying that Aigis won't use sealing at all is plain disingenuous.

None of what you just said made sense except for the part about SBA. Aigis' Pallas Athena key is in the late-game of P3, not in her fight against Death.

What I meant is that Aigis with Palladion and Aigis with Pallas Athena should be the same key since they're exactly the same aside from the mindset, but after checking it turns out I was wrong about that anyway since Palladion is missing a few of the latter's moves. (Maybe Persona 3 characters should have keys for prior to unlocking their ultimate personas but that's a different topic entirely).

Anyway yeah whatever SBA.

And for what it's worth I don't think she'd use sealing in this match before Yupia wins much more easily by killing her with regular attacks.

So

Aigis' only wincon and the reason she doesn't get completely stomped

She doesn't even have?
