Yugioh Anime Thread Season 2

You really drove what was a decent thread into the ground and you did not even reply to my last rebuttal.

Not to mention Cloud, Khris, Mega agreed with me and my blog.

If anything, you are the only one who believed in your rebuttals. Dark didnt even state why he agreed with you.


I really dont want to debate with you ever again, but the moment you open a thread trying to put an end to the argument, ill be there to see your response to my rebuttal.

In normal cases i'd absolutely agree with that, but in a scenerio where literally only 2 staff members at best even care about the topic at hand and give their input, you can only take what you can get or nothing gets decided ever.

He didnt. And SD literally backs me up on this too, so this is flat out lying. Which doesnt matter since having staff on my side of the debate brings more credibility into what is and isn't acceptable material.

But the upgrades are indeed justified and if we make another thread, you will be there to stop the upgrade for happening.

The way you debate is literally saying "Nuh huh i wasnt debunked" over and ober again and even with your intolerable behaviour, it is a little funny how most of the staff didnt call you out.
 
Because I disagree with it, and until something new pops up, my stance will not change. That isn't wrong in any way.

Hell, if you three end up banished that leaves me and Data to conclude for ourselves and that's obviously clear where that goes. Like I said, this argument at this point will never be solved, you all know that. But damn if Staff care to finish it off if they gotta worry more about you two screaming at each other than anything else. You either:

A. Leave the argument inconclusive, because I and you all are probably already aware you're not gonna be able to edit the pages for jack on your own.

B. Let in a sea of Staff to decide for themselves, you already know what I believed and how this wouldn't work.

C. Wait until someone gets Marco'd, which will probably be both of you.

With recent events, I talked things over with Cal and this hopefully got resolved. So they'll be no more screaming or yelling at each other over this (If you wanna know more, come mssg me).
 
Perhaps I'm a little late, but I would like to encourage you all to breathe, or drink some water. This thread is pretty heated up.

Try inhaling for 4 seconds, holding it in for 7 seconds, and then exhaling for 8 seconds. This will help regulate your breathing and calm you down.

If you guys do make the decision to make another thread about this, remind me to come and moderate it. If it's too much to ask that we come to some sort of consensus on this, then perhaps it's best that I close this thread.
 
Cal gave them a warning quite a while ago and it's already been dropped, so that isn't necessary.
 
OK but is there any conclusion on the argument or is it just dead? If it's dead I think I can finally get to them still being 9-C for empty-handed reasons

It just makes Yugi scaleable to Inifnite obelisk and Knight of Destiny, so...Yeah. But add that to the profile and we`re done.

Erm...Have you read the thread?

DM hax beig used irl has been shown multiple times. The only thig stopping the upgrade is Data's arguments about the effects of the cards.
 
So...Are you seriously agreeing with dismissing a lot of instances DM Hax has been used irl because the effect of some cards are different than cards that have not been used in the Animeverse at all?


I mean, if any of you antiYGOhax guys posted an instance of any cards used irl being different than the use they have in duel, youd have a point, but this? This is just taking away an skill it is clearly shown in the show for personal gain.
 
No. I have stated at this point at least 10 times that the effects are different withi the animeverse than when they are used outside a card game in the animeverse.

Card effect in anime card game =/= Ability in anime outside of card game is what I'm saying.

1. Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon: Currently the most accurate in anime card game to anime real life, still has 3 major differences: Ignoring the entirety of its first part (Summoning), can destroy multiple things instead of just one, destroys the card afterwards, and not just the monster.

2. Chain Energy: Nulls Summoning and sucks away the life force of an enemy, (Anime Card Effect), whereas when Marik used it, it not only did none of that, it also works on multiple enemies and is shown different.

3. Literally every card in Season 5: They completely lacked any summoning requirements, Blue-Eyes Dragon even had the ability to fuse on its own. Obelisk lacked his Infinite ATK ability (If he did have it, he would literally have one shot Zorc), and before anyone says the cards =/= monsters, it must be noted that the entire reason that the God cards were dangerous to anyone without sufficient willpower was because they still had the power of the Gods, furthermore the spirits still retain in the cards as shown by Season 4 and GX.

There are probably more examples throughout the thread, but I would rather not have to look through all the threads when these should be enough.
