Yu Yu Hakusho anime as Canon

Everyone knows that Yu Yu hakusho ended up much sooner than he should have, Togashi is pretty lazy for some things, but for the last know Togashi used the animapara to show us more about his universe. Searching further to fndo I saw that the bottom images of the fi of each episode were made by him, besides contributing like scriptwriter of several episodes,

As a curiosity, Koenma dressed Tuxedo Mask in the anime for having started a relationship with the creator of Sailor Moon, so Togashi put him in anime like that.

I don't see how the 3rd link justify the anime being canon.

And finally, IMDB also has Kubo and Kishimoto in the series writer credits. And we all know that their anime aren't canon.

This has been discussed before but was not accepted. I'm still unsure of the whole thing myself.

Edit: One thing we could do is make separate profiles for the anime iterations of many YYH characters. Characters in the Upper S-class would end up at 6-A based on a calc for a feat from the anime.

Considering that the author of the manga was not directly involved in the creation of the anime series, the anime is considered non-canon, according to our rules regarding canon.

So for most manga series, that means the original manga is canon, while the anime is not (since the anime is simply an adaptation of the manga made by others)
