Yu-Gi-Oh creator is no longer with us.

Murder case? Suicide?
Otherwise this is really a big punch in the guts, especially what he did with Yu-Gi-Oh has influenced a lot globally
Rip maestro of trading card genre
He was found wearing snorkeling equipment and apparently attacked by sharks

Yu-Gi-Oh has always been up there for me. It's my childhood and I loved the anime very much and I remember watching Season 0, that was truly fantastic. His art is superb and of course his work that eventually created the card game played by many people and beloved till this day

I learned my Yugioh quite literally in a roblox game many many years ago (My first and main deck till this day is HERO) and managed to meet people and made friends thanks to yugioh.

Thank you for everything Kazuki Takahashi for bringing this beloved franchise into the hearts of many.

"Thank you Yugi-San. Gotcha! That was a fun duel!" - Judai Yuki (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX)

Oh no.......
We lost two legends in such a short time span. First it was Kentaro Miura, and now this...

Yu-Gi-Oh! quite literally made my childhood, and I still play the card game to this day. This franchise/game is VERY near and dear to my heart, and this man's legacy will most definitely live on.

Rest in peace, Takahashi-Sensei.

A small update on the news:

Kazuki Takahashi sacrificed himself while aiding a US Army officer to save three riptide victims at a grotto near his place of death.

He died a hero.

I have massive amounts of respect for people who actually stand for their heroic ideals, and do not just sprout empty platitudes.

Rip to a goat 🐐 💙

And wow just read the update, on top of being a talented dude who gave so much to others like myself that grew up with yugioh, he went out like a hero as well. Thanks for everything Kazuki Takahashi
